My Conclusion About APC Supporters. by Kepukepu: 10:27pm On Dec 09, 2023 |
Some people call it "Stockholm syndrome voters" or "loyal opposition". They're referring to the psychological phenomenon where someone develops a positive attachment to the person who is abusing or exploiting them. It can be difficult to understand why someone would continue to defend a bad leader, but it's important to remember that people are complex and can have a variety of motivations for their actions. It does seem crazy at first glance, but there are actually a lot of complex psychological factors that can lead to someone supporting a bad leader. For example, it could be a result of cognitive dissonance (the discomfort people feel when their beliefs or behaviors are inconsistent with each other), or the sunk-cost fallacy (the tendency to stick with a bad decision because you've already invested a lot of time or resources into it). It's definitely an interesting phenomenon, but it's not always easy to understand. Some people are very resistant to change even in the presence of overwhelming evidence against their beliefs. There's a concept called "confirmation bias" that explains why people tend to interpret new information in a way that confirms their existing beliefs. In other words, they'll selectively pay attention to evidence that supports their beliefs, while ignoring evidence that contradicts their beliefs. This makes it very difficult to convince someone to change their mind. In other words, there's no amount of evidence you want to give to APC supporters that would be enough for them to change their minds. You just have deal with them. Ordinarily, the devastated state of the country would have been enough evidence to convince someone with a working brain that APC is here to render almost everyone useless. Just relax, you will soon find them coming here to display these exact attributes as described above. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Some are being paid to do it, some are doing it in the hope of appointment or contract some day. The igbo lady ( APC supporter ) that was incoherent on TV during election got a post as program manager for one of those IDP camp missions. But the reality is for every 1m of them only 1 or 2 go get am 😆 6 Likes 1 Share |

flokii:This is a whataboutism fallacy. This still boils down to the fact that no APC supporter makes his decision to support APC from a genuine rational standpoint 1 Like 1 Share |

There are the tribalists, too. As long as it does affect other ethnic groups, especially Igbos, they are satisfied. Their sole aim is never to see an Igbo man or someone who Igbos support in Aso Rock. It gives them an erection so bad! Organise an election today between Tinubu vs Peter Obi, and the former would win for that very reason. Pit Akpabio vs Kwankwaso, and the latter would win it. Do Atiku vs Jonathan and the Waziri of Adamawa would win. In fact, pit Udom Emmanuel against a goat and your fellow Nigerians would vote for that goat. You need to understand how your fellow Nigerians think. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Kepukepu:This epistle is coming from someone supporting Obi? LOL. I begin to wonder if Obidents are talking about another Obi that never held a political position before or the one Anambra people cûrsèd for 8 years. The syndrome u just described is what is affecting Obidents. 6 Likes 1 Share |

raskymonojendor:If only Obi never held a political position, we would have been convinced, he was governor for 8 solid years, didn't improve life in Anambra, all of a sudden because of trîbè and reIigion, they baptized and named him messiah. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Gerrard59: I feel your pain.. but you see the problem with Igbos is that they fear the North too much, like they see Northerners as being above them. GEJ was a perfect example, he marginalized Yorubas in South West and was busy placating Northerners, building almajiri schools and whatnot thinking they would love him. He knew his time was up when Buhari came and Yorubas rejected him for his betrayal, backing Buhari.. Exact same thing the Igbo president would do, keep Yorubas one side and try to be pleaaing Hausa-Fulani. Look at how President Tinubu, a Yoruba man is running things.. you'll know nobody is bullying or controlling him and he is from a major ethnic group in Nigeria. The bad product called Obi that you people are selling by force won't fly, he should just forget 2027. 3 Likes 1 Share |

What is wrong in that. I perosnally do not wish an Igbo man as president untill an Igbo bold enough to confront his own people to tone down the insult fools like you dish to every other Nigeria. I will rather suffer to death than have a bastard that insult rule over me. You can call it whatever you like, I do not like Tinubu as a president but I know he is beta than both Atiku n obi but I have others like Fashola Umahi etc that I will spend my personal money to have them become president but they are far from that position. As for Peter Obi you can see my signature is against him even after the election that is how passionate I hate him n his bigoted politics, even in death Peter Obi will never be my candidate. I would rather die than have him as president until he come out in a live broadcast apologizing to all Nigerians most especially the Fulani Hausa n Yorubas you foolish igbos insulted for solid 8 years. Failure to do that, God willing I am more bouyant that this if I so not have a candidate I will campaign I will print posters placards n what have all against the candidacy of Peter Obi. All those kwakwaso Akpabio you are dropping their name you still de give yourself excuse Peter Obi vs Lucifer as president of Nigeria I will gladly vote Lucifer with abundant joy than vote Peter Obi. You igbos do not even have any idea the hate waiting for you with all those you insulted over the years but your fathers will learn. Gerrard59: 3 Likes 1 Share |

I thank God that Agulu outcast didn't win, Nigeria for collapse pass Anambra. Nigerians escaped LP affliction. LP is a party of prostitutes. Many Chi Chi who fvck around with 70 years Olds plenty for there both mail n female. They thought they can fvck their way to Aso Rock 2 Likes |

Re: My Conclusion About APC Supporters. by XY23: 6:06am On Dec 10, 2023 |
IamNotWariz: Nope, not in the next 60 years. In fact, sane people have decided not to make the mistakes of their fathers: having forlorn hope. It is the hope that kills. It is the turn of those below 10 years to bear the burden of 'e go better'. If you're above 30 years, sorry. With what I have seen in my adult life, Nigerians cannot make unbiased decisions to save their lives. 1 Like 2 Shares |
