its a great place but its the people in it thats the problem. if you deport all the people and fill it up with 10 million oyinbos it would look like heaven. mohammed will be shitting and washing his gbola with kettle beside every road, nnamdi will be trying to sell you fufu iphone in alaba or computer village, kazeem the omonile will extort you like crazy grin grin

Get rid of you stupid slave mentality. It will not look like heaven if 10 million oyinbos come here, unless the oyinbos come with the same amount of money and wealth they have in their countries.

The UK has an annual budget of 2 trillion dollars.

If their population were transferred to Nigeria, whose annual budget is 35 billion dollars, Nigeria will not ''look like heaven'' simply because ''oyinbo'' came.

Mumu.

Catapault, you can do better reporting. Tell us a place in Lagos represented in each photo - like the twin tower. To be honest, I suspect that some of those pictures are not taken even in Africa.

But, if all these are Lagos, even if the photos are over edited, they are good to help us visualize having such a country.

You are a lying fool.
In your list, only Nairobi, Abidjan, and Dar es Salaam can match or surpass the Lagos skyline.
Mentioning Accra, Kampala, Lusaka, Bulawayo, Francistown - wherever the fck that is - is an egregious insult.

Don't mind the Starganz man above- heart of jealousy is a grievous one!
Similarly, someone mentioned Obi, living in Lagos and his townsmen are picking quarrels!
Those who think that a Nigerian Politician is a Saint needs their heads examine!

Why are most Nigerians like this? If someone challenges you based on facts, you resort to quarrels. Now, tell me again that I typed garbage.

You said,

That was a really dumb thing to say.

You have never been to Africa, clearly.

Where are you typing from? Canada? USA?

Get off CNN and go on YouTube to see the real modern Africa CNN won't show you, so you quit typing such embarrassing nonsense.

Lagos is at par or above all the cities you mentioned.. The only cities that can be up for comparison with Lagos in your list are Nairobi, Dar Esalaam and maybe Abidjan...

i call bullshit. It’s the people not the economics. The same people find themselves in Dubai of all places and take to armed robbery and cultism, 5 Nigerian guys tried to rob a Dubai bank and now we have been banned in Dubai. In Ghana they are there kidnapping people and Ghanaians now hate us, in South Africa they are there kidnapping and selling drugs and doing cult activity, all the jails in Asia is brimming full with Nigerians

At some point in time you have to get past the denial and accept that the people are demonic.

It's colonial masters that did everything that's why Obi cannot live in Anambra but settled in Lagos to enjoy the fruits of his slave colonial master's labour

Yes o. All the structures were built during colonial rule. In fact, in the 65 years of independence, nothing has been done to improve Lagos.!!!

But we will not forget stories we heard about Jakande the man who laid the foundation of modern Lagos. We will not for BAT, the man who advanced the structure of Lagos. We will not forget Babatunde Raji Fashola, the man who executed projects in Lagos. I got to EBUTE metta during Fashola reign and I missed the bus stop to my family house because everything changed o. Now one Omo ale jati jati is saying na colonial master do everything. Kele ma gbeyin ni.
