Now you're celebrating individual wealth?
I thought you guys used to laugh at Nigerians when they mention dangote....

What good are those few wealthy people when tens of millions can't even afford to spend 10 dollars a day?
I knew the logic will flew over your brain. I can bring GNI per capita, individual's wealth, number of billionaires and millionaires, etc, just to debunk your logic of having more Upper class.

I've posted that world Bank link here 1000s of times and this is not the first time we are having this conversation Orc

But as usual, you forgets facts that are not in your favour 🤣😂

I'm currently using a new phone, so if you and general want that link, you can just search on this platform and you'll find it
You don't have to announce that you bought a new phone. People buy phones more often, and they don't shout.

You posted the recent WORLD BANK 2023 REPORT, and gave the list that matched the graph tallied 10 years ago, Who are you carrying for a fool?

(2016) Above $6.3 means in Ghana - 6.2M
(2008) Above $10 Means in Ghana.- 5.2M

If both data are from WB, who is fooling who?
Why can't you repost the link if you're confident of what you're spewing?

Why do you have to lie that you posted a link you did not post in the first place?

All you posted here is just a screenshot but you kept claiming to have provided the link.

It seems the hiatus from this thread made some people more stupid than i thought. No basic etiquette of sound argument on the Internet.

The real boss here is South Africa.

Let's keep Nigeria 2022 population at 200 million, 273 billion divisible by 200 million is 1,365 dollars.
Divide this by 365 days and you have the average consumer spending at 3.7 dollars per pay.

Ghana 55 billion divide by 30 million and you have 1,833, further divide by 365 days and you have 5 dollars average consumer spending per day.

South Africa 256 billion divided by 60 million people gets you 4,266 dollars, further divide by 365 days and you get average consumer spending at 11.6 dollars a day.

Kenya 80 billion by 54 million people get you 1,481 dollars, further divide by 365 days and you have average consumer spending at 4 dollars per day.

South Africa comes first
Ghana second
Kenya third
Nigeria 4th
2019, Kenyan population was 48M and Ghana population was 33M.
That means kenya's figure is $1667
And Ghana is $1666.

Yes, even more than that. Ghana's population is always underestimated. How do you conduct your census?

I don't dance around with Hot Air. Ghana's documented population in 2019 was 31M, and the reality of ground is 36M.

Ghana's documented population in 2023 is 34.5M, but on the ground is more or less 41M.

You ought to have known this, hobbit. Don't let foreigners give you information about your mini zoo.

We all can make such claims.

So Kenya's population in 2023 is 53+million but in reality your population is over 75million

Ethiopia is set to join Zambia and Ghana as a sovereign defaulter.

The government advised a group of its euro bondholders that it’s not in a position to pay the $33 million coupon due Monday because of the nation’s “fragile external position..."

What da fvck is happening here? 33 million dollars??

There is making a claim and there is substantiating a claim, what you are doing is none of the above. I made a claim and I substantiated it with a screenshot - you on your side you went full berserk on rants while pulling suppositious data. Hold on! Before you misconstrue everything, lemme tip you off with a casual agent: I said your data as of 2023, was 34M - based on the evidence from the screenshot (forget about the reality of the ground) - was I wrong?

"Anyone can say anything, like Kenya's population is 75M " _ as far as I might want to agree with this, I still can't get the rational thought process for one to sit to this conclusion. 2M- 9M makes sense, but a whopping 24M incremental? I presume you included the deranged in the "anyone can do" part, which is true but not logically palatable.

So sit down.

Lol. Ghana definitely did not default, it was just for politics (in the voice of Just40) 😂😄

Anyway on a more serious note, I think their decision to default and restructure in order to quickly seal the IMF 600 million dollars and stop servicing those debts for now was not that bad, seeing how it helped in 2023. The restructuring, though painful, put less pressure on Ghanaian Govt resources this year.

But this Ethiopian reason for likely default is strange. That Ethiopia cannot pay 33 million dollars? This is what is astonishing.

Kenya shillings is falling like Nigeria naira . Couple with the nationwide light off.

It seems Nigeria and Kenya are lacing the same shoes.

Honestly, imf is really in favor of Ghana. For the first time ever since about four years. I save my money In cedis for five month without really loosing the value . I am even afraid to even buy dollar .

Kenya KES has lost 25% this year - not worst.
They have been 3 blackouts in 3 nights in a year lasting less than 10hrs.
The last one on sunday night - last 4hrs in my place.
Kenya has sub-sahara most reliable electricity.

Tell that to the wind.

You are currently on serious light rationing .keep that to your sorry heart .

A dollar is a about 156 shillings in the normal market . Black market will obviously be more than that . Your only trusted source of dollar earning is even shrinking. The dollar remittance by Kenyans outside

what did you understand by number of people who can spend 10 dollars a day?

It surely wasn't about the total consumer spending of a nation.

You were the one who brought the yearly consumer spending of Nigeria to claim how Nigeria is the boss.

Per Capita gives you the spending depth of each society.
