Our forces recovered the bodies of Israeli hostages, Eden Zakaria and Staff Sergeant Major Ziv Dado from the Gaza Strip and brought them back to Israel after an operation by the IDF Special Forces. Eden (27) was taken hostage by Hamas terrorists from the Nova Music Festival and Ziv (36) was taken hostage and fell while serving as a logistics manager in the 51st battalion. Amir T

According to more sources: These are huge pumps, which eventually connect to a huge pipe, to create a tremendous water surge. The pipe is inserted into the tunnel with the largest opening in the area, with the upper part of the tunnel sealed from above with cement, so that the water does not escape. There are photographs of buildings sinking into the tunnels route. Amir T

The UN General Assembly rejected the US amendment to the proposed resolution on Gaza. The amendment included condemnation of Hamas. The UN Assembly accepted the proposed resolution calling for a ceasefire. The resolution has no binding force. 153 voted in favor, 10 opposed. Amir T.

IDF: A short while ago, in response to the launches toward Israel earlier today, IDF aircraft and tanks struck a number of military posts and military infrastructure belonging to the Syrian Army in Syrian territory. Additionally, an IAF fighter jet struck military infrastructure and IDF forces struck a launch post belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanese territory. |
