How was your experience like, the point in your sport betting life where you felt football betting might be rigged? When you felt the matches were fixed? Even if the players aren't aware of the arrangements, buh the team management is involved - you can tell from the decision the coach made during the course of the match.
Who has noticed this phenomenon please? Is it my conspiracy theory? How can you proof or invalidate my claims, that the game of sport betting might be rigged.

You are right but arbitrage is the best.

No risk
No loss.
Whatsoever

Guaranteed wins always

This would only apply to games that have no tie(or draws).
And for such kind of games , gain would only be possible if the two odds you are staking on are both above 2.0 odd- if not you stand a chance of loosing.
Can you please validate your "no loss" claim?

I have been using arbitrage for 8 years without loss.

Any game works.

It is basically made by the difference in odds between bookies.

Bet9ja will always have slight difference with 88bet and that difference may be 10% profit per game.

Daily i get over 70 games across 15 different sports.

So there is no loss.
.hope you understand.

I wont teach it... I am not selling any material.

Go to YouTube and research for yourself.

If you say rigged in terms of bookies having an unfair advantage against bettors I will say YES. But if in terms of players, coaches, and management making decisions to favor bookies I will say NO to that. My reasons for saying NO are

1) Bookies like bet365, and bet9ja in the true sense don't know the true outcome of a game that is yet to be played. Although they may have the undue advantage of getting information on team status like injuries, benched players, etc. Before such information will get to the general public. As such they might have adjusted their odds for even greater profit margins.

2)Bookies put a lot of things into consideration before offering an odd on a particular market. They are not in the business of poverty alleviation programs. They have a huge overound in each market. For each bet you place on a soft bookie, they have a high profit margin of about 5-10% greedy Nigeria bookies can go as high as 20%. Whether you win or not, their profit is almost guaranteed. Forget about the team stats and analysis you made before making a bet. Believe me, they made x10 of such analysis before offering you such worthless odds. With that, they are almost guaranteed to WIN in the long run.

3)Although match-fixing still exists it remains a difficult terrain in big leagues. No elite player, coach, or team would want to risk their careers to match-fixing, because the cons far outweigh the pros.

With all said and done, can we say bookies know it all or are they unbeatable? The answer is a clear NO. They may make mistakes during odds compilation, have different opinions, slow to react to market movements or team news, and have book balancing issues, so their odds may be way above the average market odds. This is when advantaged bettors like arbers, and value bettors pounce on them. Because WINNERS are not welcome bookies will end up closing or restricting the accounts of such advantage bettors.

It's not rigged as in a fixed match. But the bookies have edge on bet market pricing.

That being said, why many are failing in sports betting and other speculative businesses like Forex is because they lack adequate knowledge of the fundamental nature of sports betting which is "probability and randomness"

Can you predict the exact time rain will fall tomorrow?
Can you predict the exact time you will fall asleep this night? You may predict the time you will be going to bed but not exact of time of falling asleep.
If you can't predict all these, who told you that you can predict the outcome of next Chelsea game?

The concept of "probability and randomness" has been studied for centuries, with many different theories emerging from its exploration. Nassim Taleb, a renowned philosopher and mathematician said in his Theory OF Randomness that:

"True randomness is impossible to predict or control. In other words, no matter how much data you have or how many calculations you make, there will always be an element of unpredictability in any given situation."

The firewall of Sports Betting Market was built with mathematics and you can only break the firewall with mathematics. That's why bookies in Europe are closing accounts of professional punters because these punters are betting with counter mathematical models.

What we have in Nigeria are recreational punters claiming to be Pro on Twitter and Telegram.

Some nigga who got lucky one way or the other knowing about arbitrage betting always feels he is the alpha male in sport betting.

Always skeptical to share with fellow folks (I wont teach anyone go and learn from YouTube) I called them fools

Well arbitrage is safe probably 99% safe,
You only loss a bet if a bet is void on one betting platform which I will say it's rare.

Arbitrage is very hard to sport manually no doubt, but there are software out there that provide arbs but it doesn't come very handle "paid"
Some soft are free though.
Breakingbet.com is the 1 I personally use search for other that suits you

Google search about arbitrage Google explains better

You are right in some way.

But this is not the big picture.

Let me break it down.

It doesn't matter the outcome of a match. WIN or LOSE...the bookie is guaranteed not to make a loss. They don't always win. But in a perfect system, they never lose. Perfect system, I say. Sometimes bookies get sloppy and leak out some advantages. But in the grand scheme of things, it only amounts to a chink.

Apart from bookies, there are services called exchanges. A very popular type is B>E>T>>FAI>>>R. You see this exchange is the most popular on Earth. Exchanges are about the best places to get the best odds. What bookies do is this: they take the odds offered by exchanges and skew it in their favour. They skew it so much that when a punter places a bet on their platform, all they need do is take a counter bet on the exchange. If the math is correctly done, they hedge off the punter's bet. On top of that, they are scheming off some of the punter's profits. On top of that, they earn commissions on the punters losing bets. So win or lose, there is a profit to be had.

In Nigeria, it is so bad, that people are addicted to accumulators like crack. And bookies love this. The more the games that are accumulated the more profits they stand to gain because as you rightly pointed out, it's an overround fest. That's why you see them advertising accumulators like mad.

Don't forget there is 5% - 7% charge for every winning on betfair. And most times liquidity is a major issue in getting your bets matched at your specified odds.

Liquidity an issue on betfair?

You don't know what you're saying. If you mentioned other smaller exchanges like Smarkets and Matchbook, I can understand.

But Betfair? In a game like Football? No....I don't agree with you. I disagree with anger.

5%-7% is not a problem. That will already have been factored into overround.

Funny you, try checking the liquidity on a game outside the big leagues or weekdays. There are even certain Asian handicap markets that Betfair doesn't offer. As I type this the highest matched bet on Vietnamese league match odd for games that will start in 1 hour 18 minutes is just $456. Take your time and explore better, you will see things for yourself.

Check again when it's live

Looking at a game pre-match and looking at it live are 2 very different things.

Also if you can check the ladder, I'm pretty sure you'll find some nice and tidy sum waiting at various points on the ladder to be matched.

Liquidity is only a factor for traders like us. How quickly are we able to get in and out?

For bookies that's not the goal. It's essentially a hedge for them.

A bookie does not need to be matched pre-match. That's the whole point of the overound.

If the market goes against them, the hedge kicks in. If it goes in their favour, the hedge stake does not get matched and they win on the takings from the punter based on all overounds.

By the way, how are you able to access Betfair? VPN or Broker...or you're in Diaspora

A bookie will only hedge when his books are not balanced on a particular market. It doesn't make sense profitwise in hedging for bookies why should they? For instance, if an exchange like Betfair or a sharp like Pinnacle is offering 2 3 4 for a prematch and a soft bookie is offering 1.50 2.40 3.10 for the same game. In as much as your books are balanced it makes no sense hedging on an exchange as a bookie. Because you will be shredding or even giving up your edge and profits.

Bookies like Ladbrokes, StanJames, William Hill, etc., were already functioning before the advent of Betfair as an exchange. So bookies make profits even without betting exchanges. I use a broker to access Betfair.
