Straight forward. No questions asked. I landed in Johannesburg. There were two officers that attended to e-visa along with other categories. They had a device for reading it that the other officers didnt have. Took like 2 mins.

@hunee and others. Urgent reply and advice. The application I made for family of 5 has being processed. I take delivery of the 4 passport this morning with visa sticker on it. There is no information on my own. I didn't keep my passport but my family. Because I
Travelled to china the next day after the submission. I have send mail to vfs. They are not responding well. One reply that all my application has being processed and delivered. Another one said the application is still with South Africa embassy. Please advice. We are travelling on 23rd. I need to know my faith before paying for ticket. Thank you

I do not understand this sir. The application was jointly submitted. Is there need to re apply afresh or to write the embassy to make them ask for passport for the visa.

Most likely when you are back, your visa may be ready.
This is an option.
You can keep sending mails if you prefer the sticker visa.

Let me send mail through dhl and if they didn't respond before Monday. Then I will apply with vfs . Isit okay?

Another good option too, send it direct to the embassy and attach copies of your family visas. Let them know it is urgent and a family trip.

Send multiple mails and letter to the embassy till they reply you. That’s the only option now

Another option will also be to take your passport to VFS. To gain access, tell the security you want to submit your passport. When you get in, tell the staff your situation, they'll scan the sticker behind your passport to ascertain the status of your application.

I send several mails to vfs before reporting here. I even almost send a letter to South Africa embassy today as suggested by hunee before they placed a call to me to bring my passport. Which I have submitted to them today and also email confirming the reciept has being recieved.

My worry now is which airline can I get cheap ticket from for 5 people.

If you are going to Johannesburg, check Air Cote D'Ivoire and Uganda Airlines. For Cape Town, check TAAG Angola
