It's o.

Thanks for the clarification.

But should be too heavy to pull.

To get a good sinker, get a condemned slippers, trimmed it to a size of TomTom sweet, use a blade to divide it but make sure the divided sides don't fall off. Tie the shaped stuff to the line of your hook. You're good to go. cool
you’re talking about floater, a sinker purpose is to make the hook go far into the ocean when you cast the line. Just like a projectile

Please what's the usefulness of the plug you attached?

It’s a sinker. It adds weight to the fishing line allowing it to sink deep in the water , so as not to be tossed about by the waves
I hope this helps.

So you can't go into the market to buy fish. You are looking for osho free, after stupidly voting for tinubu.

Look at the condition of your life. 🤦
it’s not an about the catch but the experience. I spent over 50k to fuel my car, gate fee, buy bait (10k) and food…..

I just read some online reviews of that Marwa beach in Lekki which faces the Atlantic ocean.
I never heard of the beach until today, and one of the online reviewers said his phone got stolen on the beach. A second online reviewer said some layabouts live on the beach and he said some sections of the beach have plastic wastes and more, meaning as of the time he posted a review, parts of the beach were not very neat.

For folks who are thinking of going to relax and get their skins caressed by the gentle Atlantic Ocean breeze, or even to fish with hooks, lines, and sinkers, they have to be security conscious so they don't get mugged! Period.
note that is no relaxation spot at Marwa beach, na cele people dey come here mostly. I only come here for fishing, if you want to come, I recommend that you don’t come alone. Although you can make friends with foreigners that are also there to catch fishes.

how do you know If you have a catch. Will the fishing pole feel heavier or you experience a vibration?

No relaxation spot? Interesting.

Yeah... You're right. Some Celestial church members also gave reviews on that Website about the beach.

Thanks for the great feedback here and the insightful thread.

Cheers!

This Is where the type of line you're using comes into play.

The hook on its own can sink and with braided lines, it goes very deeply into the water without a sinker.
cool

you will feel some vibrations, it means something it’s trying to grab your bait, after few sec, reel in like twice. When you feel slight resistance, then you start to reel in fast.

a floater is needed only when you can see the fishes and you’re sure of the depth the fishes are.

That's quite innovative. I'm trying to picture what you stated in my mind's eye using slippers. You must be a real fishing enthusiast.

Thanks for the insights.

Cheers.

Back in the days, if there's anything I love doing apart from academic works, football and farming, fishing is my thing. grin

One trick to get the fish running to your hook is, get a garri mixed with palm oil, then throw it at the spot where you have your hook in the water. grin cool

Maybe bros, but did you know I have never used a sinker before?

In fact, we didn't use it all through our times of fishing with rod and lines.

We only use sinkers when we are doing long line fishing in the sea. cool
