During the fighting in Shejaiya, an IDF force mistakenly identified three Israeli hostages as a threat. As a result the force fired at them and they were killed.

During a scan and inspection of the area of ​​the incident, a suspicion arose regarding the identity of the dead. The bodies were taken for examination in Israeli territory, after which it turned out that they were three Israeli abductees.

Their bodies were examined the Shura camp, where the abductees were identified:
The late Yotam Haim, who was kidnapped from Kfar Gaza by the terrorist organization Hamas on October 7.
The late Samer Talalka, who was kidnapped from Nir Am by the terrorist organization Hamas on October 7.

I suspect that Hamas terrorists forced our abductees to run towards the IDF, which caused them to be misidentified and killed.

I wouldn't be surprised if they even documented the whole thing to later show online to the world.

Before you rush to accuse the “Israeli occupation” for the murderous barbaric spirit of the “innocent Palestinians” just remember that in 1929 there was no occupation nor state of Israel.

For many years, the small community of 800 Jews in the ancient city of Hebron lived in peace with their tens of thousands of Arab neighbors.

But, on the night of August 23, 1929, the tension simmering within this cauldron of nationalities bubbled over, and for a period of three days, Hebron turned into a city of terror and murder as the Arab residents led a rampaging massacre against the bewildered and helpless Jewish community.

By the time the massacre ended, 67 Jews lay dead – their homes and synagogues destroyed – and the few hundred survivors were relocated to Jerusalem.
The aftermath left Hebron barren of Jews for the first time in hundreds of years.

Alon Shamriz, was kidnapped from Kibbutz Kfar Aza by the Hamas terrorist organization on October 7th.

IDF and Israel Police representatives have notified the family of the tragic death.
The IDF expresses deep remorse over the incident and sends the families its heartfelt condolences.
