Start from your personnel @ the EFCC. They are one of the stupendously rich set of criminals in government.
I am not trying to defend them, but this embezzlement cuts across all MDAs, it is everywhere.

Why? Because the official salary has become utterly useless. Very very obsolete. So individuals are devising looting means and Looting practices to compensate for this utterly poor salary.

Salaries review are long overdue. 100k are supposed to be 500k package.

the group of people that should be mostly affected by unexplained wealth should be politicians. You can't be having a net pay of 500million and having more than 10billion in your accounts

grin grin grin Unexplained poverty is personal. While investigating unexplained wealth could lead us to unethical sharp practices that might have compromised national commonwealth, security & safety of individuals, etc.

But really that is the best way to go, you must explain all your income and how they come. This is the only way contract inflation, yahoo, juju or retual money, and unnecessary gifts can be checkmate. Nothing to fear. We had it so good b4 in Nigeria in the 70s 80s and long bad military Govt introduced man know man to the point that hairdressers, girlfriends, cooks etc are getting contracts in billions for road construction etc without even attending any tertiary institution.

We need this so strongly now, so then we know who cut corners.
Re: EFCC Seeks Laws Against Unexplained Wealth by Moneyboyz: 7:59am On Dec 16, 2023
They should also make laws for unexplained poverty too.

Also we all know the laws would be used against the youths and not the real culprits.

The fact that you believed ritual or JuJu money is real says a lot about you.

Do you have evidence of that?

They should start with politicians first, if it works that would send a loud message to others. It is a welcome idea 😁

Are you kidding me?
Almost every public officer will go to jail

The law is not for Politicians, its for innocent youths whom EFCC kidnap daily to make money through bail. there is a yahoo guy in my street that was arrested, two weeks later he was free after he paid EFCC N5million. He said some pay as low as N1.5m it all depends on what they can find in all your bank accounts.

This will only be used to pick on the ordinary man and harass political opponents.
The true culprits in government will remain unscathed.
Re: EFCC Seeks Laws Against Unexplained Wealth by viodemus: 8:12am On Dec 16, 2023
Is not about unexplained wealth. Is about what you are looking for? and how you go about it, under law.

The Nigeria we know today, is so criminally wicked, that this honest check will become a way of using the authority in knowing who and when to rob a person. Using that to extort the innocent and enrich themselves. Sars pro max.

What is the law on that. Are efcc now tax people that should be checking if you paid taxes on your business, or what is their aim? What is their creative aim? The job of tracking the national treasury loot, is not even satisfactory, now they want to go around and start harassing people, stealing, and forming god on people. Africa is just a very very useless place. You haven't finished understanding ABC, you want to be doing p and q.

To be continued.....

Nigerians with common sense should not support this drive because it would be used to harass innocent people while they turn a blind eye on real criminals.
