Osimhen looked fit yesterday when he came off, must have been a slight knock and was taken off for precautionary reasons but there's not enough evidence to suggest he won't make the AFCON until we see an official statement from his medical team.

Unfortunately his team can't seem to win any games at the moment

Victor Osmihen is how hope lifting that trophy comes January he be crucial for us in the afcon with Boniface in front of goal. I pray the coach don't stick with basket Uzohole as our number 1 goal keeper going to afcon in January

Victor Boniface is our best bet for SS/ AM in SE. Watch how he's instrumental to all the goals they scored today. He will do much more when he has Osimhen as a point man, drifting defenders to himself and creating space for Boniface to score.

We have to implement a formation with both of them without compromising the midfield

Let me say it again our performance will depend on the strength of our midfield.
.

And on a broader side the strength of usabilities jpajero deplored, the motivation to succeed on the part of the players and d right selection for each position.

But the jpajero side is heart wrenching.

Egypt of course! They just know how to play on the continent.
Morocco? Never! Morocco relied on low blocks and counters during the World Cup. But at AFCON it will be reversed (they would have to deal with low blocks and counter). Morocco lacks the fire power to score goals!

Nigeria/Egypt will win it!
Remember their coach helped Wydad Casablanca

We can have a front three of Boniface, victor and moses just like we had ideye, eminike and victor moses in 2013 and iwobi behind then, with ididi serving as a conductor just like Mikel did in 2013. Either Frank or the other guy from royal Antwerp can complement the midfield with strict instruction not to overlape.

Uzoho is still better than most goalkeepers that would be at AFCON!

With Uzoho in goal post Nigeria will not go far

Yes you are right Mikel,Moses and Enyeama.and we saw Emenike/Ideye super combo....unknown Mba came from no where...Oboboana and Omeruo the two rookies pushed Yobo to the bench...Onazi worked his socks off for the team.

Yes we have players but do we have a team?hope Peseiro raise his tactical knowhow and gives us balance team.
.

Babami, at this eleventh hour at d bolded?

Methink Nigeria is one day late at d AFCON, hence it elude the SEs’

Exactly what I will do but remove Moses for bassey. We have one of the best headers in world football today ‘osimehn’ and he isn’t constantly being delivered the ball. If bassey can just be delivering crosses from that LWB position, it’s a W

Going into this afcon, my thought is that we do have players ... on paper. What we lack is a team and a good coach. If I may say, let our players understand the impact of working together for the team and not for self glorification. our forwards should understand that it does not matter who scores.
What matters is the ball in the net. Shikena!

They also need to learn to keep possession. Tidy and neat passes in the middle of the park. As fpr the perennial problem of the midfield....I guess we will just have to live with it and deploy players based on tactics of the coach... not the 442 alagidi one trick pony that Peseiro is all about

Winning mentality is also key cos when the chips are down and when it really gets down to it and the rubber hits the road, winning attitude will see the team through. Lastly... we need a bit of luck

The Serie A won't be going on a winter break this year. Looking at Napoli's fixture, they have 3 more games to play until Osimhen can be released for the AFCON..
I hope Osimhen stay fit.. he needs to be there.. He is yet to lead the charge for us at a major tournament.

Osimhen needs to hit the gym and bulk up. The injuries and knocks are too much. Injuries can shorten careers as well!

I pray so He stay injury Free and lead the attack of the super eagles at afcon. Victor Osmihen will be instrumental in our charges to win the fourth afcon is presence alone will give fear into the opposition team at afcon
