My offer letter explain the salary scale well,it is stated therein that band 4 is £23+k while band 5 is £26k-£32k depending on experience. I have got 10yrs experiences in Africa &Asia prior my work in UK

Hmm I dont know but an offer should carry a specific salary you will be paid. But it depends again on the wordings of the contract.

However,band 4 salary £23,999 will be paid till I acquired my Pin,it took the board 6months to process my PIN during this time I was paid £1,100 monthly.it was tough and I complained but no serious reponse, I contacted an African snr colleague who said I should just go low and move whenever I feel like, When PIN arrived, there's still a shortage in the payment aside what's on the offer.
