Documents to go with to the DHL Office:

- Two photocopies of your international passport data page
- Your International Passport itself
- Passport request letter
- Biometric confirmation slip (the document you were given after u did your Biometrics). Nowadays, is a white sticker instead of a yellow slip/receipt previously.
- Two copies of signed VFS consent forms

The VFS consent form is available at https://www./vfsconsentform

For families with multiple members, it is recommended to place each person's documents and passport in individual smaller envelopes. Afterward, gather all the smaller envelopes and include them in a single brown envelope.

Write your FULL NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NO. & Email Address on the Envelope boldly.

When you visit DHL, make sure to specify that you require a two-way courier service. Additionally, provide them with the address where you would like your passport to be delivered once it is ready.

For Abuja Office:

Put all the documents below in an envelope and send to:

Visa Application Centre
Sterling Bank Plaza, 3rd Floor
Plot No 1083, Mohammadu Buhari Way, Central Business District
Abuja, Nigeria

Documents:

- 2 duly signed consent forms.
- 2 copies of passport data page
- Passport Request Letter
- Yellow biometric slip. Nowadays, is a sticker instead of a yellow slip/receipt previously.
- Receipt of payment of transmission fee can be checked up at https://visa.vfsglobal.com/nga/en/can/passport-submission (you will pay this fee if you didn't capture biometrics at Abuja VFS)
- A paper with your contact details: name, phone number, email address, home address.

Pay the transmission fee to:

Canada Logistics Collection Account
Sterling Bank Plc
0065165839

Disclaimer: please confirm the account details before any transaction.

The contact information of VFS in Nigeria is available at https://visa.vfsglobal.com/nga/en/can/contact-us[/b]

Good luck!k

People will never learn... Why would your friend succumb to such easy to flag tricks in this modern age of technology.

Well you should know now that Canada and USA share intelligence regarding immigration. So it suffice to say that the ban will raise a flag on US side.

Your friend should try other countries that has no shared intelligence with US and Canada.

Good luck

This is to help you calculate your expenses or to give you a clearer picture of the reality on ground.
1. Rent 865/month (Wi-Fi,heating,hot water)
2. Transport student pass 58/month
3. Phone bill 40/month.
4. Groceries is in the range of 300-500/month. (NB you can go on steady fasting and use $20/month lol)
5. Tuition $8,000 every semester I.e every 4months.
6. Health insurance $1400 every year.
7. Haircut $32/month
8. Miscellaneous = $100-$200 /month.

Tuition is by far my biggest expense, followed by rent then groceries.
As per income I earn roughly $2000 per month.
I hope this helps prepare you for the journey ahead.
City is Montreal

Thanks for the wonderful and helpful pix of information.
Please can you explain more on the nature of job you do in your place of work and also the nature of jobs available for international students.
Thanks

Even though it is more expensive, you know you won't have any travel issues on the way.

Hey nairaland, pls I'm asking on behalf of a friend. Can she use her 10k GIC, 15m in naira account and 60% of tuition paid for POF come January 2024?
Will it be enough for POF? Especially with the new 20kCAD law from January 1st for living expenses.. she already transferred her 10kcad to her cibc account. Pls gurus will ;

15m naira account
Be enough to show POF?
Thanks gurus as I await your responses

Aunts assest must be in Nigeria to show home ties, anything US is like going away from your country. Even if the aunt sponsored him, she must draft letter of sponsorship, her payslips, monthly salary, if she gifts him w

What number of things was missing in your first application? can you elaborate and what's in your current documents that's not in your old one?

My first application was denied based on insufficient funds. It was self-sponsored and since I had only paid 70% of my tuition, I then decided to complete my tuition fee in full in the second application. I also increased my miscellaneous funds from 5m in the first application to 8.1m in the second application.

Additionally, I added the following documents:

1. Additional land ownership and a car ownership document
2. Pension Reg Certificate
3. Pension Statement
4. Past Contract Agreements (I am a tech freelancer)
5. Letter of Introduction
6. Past Employment Letters
7. Current contract Payslips
8. Tax Clearance certificate

Please can you throw more insight on this your statement?
After I had done my findings, I came to the realization that there were number of things missing in my first application, and it had failed in a number of places so I decided to bring reinforcements on the second application.

What were the things you discovered missing in your first application and what number of places did you fail?

My first application was denied based on insufficient funds - the gcsm note I requested never got delivered so I couldn't narrow it down to the smaller missing details. Anyways, It was self-sponsored and since I had only paid 70% of my tuition, I then decided to complete my tuition fee in full in the second application. I also increased my miscellaneous funds from 5m in the first application to 8.1m in the second application.

2. Pension Reg Certificate
3. Pension Statement
4. All current Contract Agreements (I am a tech freelancer)
5. Letter of Introduction
6. Past and present Employment Letters
7. Current contract Payslips
8. Tax Clearance certificate
