madridguy:Dont mind IPOB and where their people. They want to instigate violent in Rivers State. They want Fubara to attention-divided. We know what happened to Amaechi in his fight against Jonathan despite having 2/3 of the house behind him. What do they expect of Fubara who is just a novice in politics? Fubara has chosen the part of peace and let it remain that way. |

Governor Fubara has the support of students because he promised to pay “our bursary after eight years”. Wicked Wike. Did not pay bursary for eight years. Sheer wickedness. Imagine Wike as President, it would have been Tinubu Pro Max. |

Godsownfc:but the killer punch of the deal is for the 27 members of the state house of assembly that decamped to APC party to still keep their seats in the house, meaning that PDP the governor's party will have only 4 members. who does that ? it's more like maintaining his mandate under the mercy of wike's body language. at the snap of wike's finger, impeachment will be a successful story against the sim. |

JackDaAlienz:75% of them don't even know why they were paid to protest & they are not Rivers People. Sim made a huge mistake that will surely cost him 2nd term in office and hence is still blowing dust amidst is numerous errors. Who ever blows dust is always stained & dirty. Politics is just & always will remain a game 1 Like |

These folks don't know what's good for them. Wike's enemies are using Sim to attempt to dismantle the political structure that brought him to power. That way he gets isolated and they can hijack the government of the political neophyte he is. |

Abuja decides who occupies what political office in Nigeria. Signs of a dead country. Tinubu himself campaigned for years for political restructuring of Nigeria. But now he is president, he is most likely to disagree with politicians asking for political restructuring of Nigeria. |

EnglandAmaka: If you don't know anything about politics then be silent. Most of you just come online to spew nonsense. Do you know how Fubara emerged as governor? You are just repeating talking points you copied somewhere. And where in Nigeria have you seen a former governor taking orders from a sitting governor? At best if there is a good relationship, the sitting governor asks for advice from his predecessor. You don't understand politics at all. Overused and overrated comment - "This man doesn't know the kind of powers he has as a sitting Governor." |

EnglandAmaka: Peace is what we all wanted in Nigeria, for Fubara to had accepted the deal, he must have seen something ordinary person like you don't see. Nobody forgone a battle that is very well in his favour, let think peace before anything. If he is impeach today, majority of people telling him to fight will move on with their lives in less than a week. Power is transient, he will leave it one day, just like those before him, he should not let Rivers state burn down because of him. Let there be peace please. 1 Like |

JackDaAlienz, the people of Rivers State stood by and defended Gov. Fubara until he went to Abuja and signed that 8 point agreement. Wether Gov. Fubara was coerced or cajoled, Riverians do not know and might likely not know what exactly transpired inside Aso Rock, because the details are different, individual by individual. Are Riverians cowards, never!!!. Are you implicitly suggesting that Riverians should resort to violence even after Gov. Fubara has sued for peace and pledged to same? If Gov. Fubara had come out to suggest that he's being threatened to sign that document, at the detriment of Riverians, rest assured, you would have seen what you expected, but on this circumstance, the actions of Riverians is spot on. The inquiry is enough. |
