Until we start seeing the result we cannot celebrate yet. Let's wait and see the result.

They said Mechanical completion. That means there are other completions that needs to be done.

This is not what was promised.
These people are making a fool of us.

Until the refineries begin dispensing petrol, diesel and cooking gas, and the pump prices are reduced drastically, there is nothing to celebrate.

Government, please stop deceiving Nigerians by telling lies and covering your incompetent with high sounding words.

Nigerians are tired of too much story and grammar... what nigerians want to see is the refinering producing fuel, disel, kerosene and sold at a cheaper affordable price... simple

I was reading through the comments, it then seemed as if I read previous news wrongly, as no one could remember this same thing you pointed out

The information before today was that it'll "START PRODUCTION" in December, but nothing in Kyari said indicated such... Is it that people have short term memories or what?

https://businessday.ng/news/article/port-harcourt-refinery-to-be-ready-in-december-2023-says-lokpobiri/

In August 2023, Minister Heineken Lokpobiri in a statement signed by NNPCL’s Garba Mohammed said the Port Harcourt refinery “would come on board by the end of the year”. There are numerous other assurances by various individuals (Ibrahim Onoja, Mele Kyari etc.) of a Kaduna refinery that would be operational by December 2023.

In November 2023, Mr. Mele Kyari told lawmakers “I can confirm to you that by the end of December this year, we will start the Port Harcourt refinery” .

Through out 8 years of Buhari tenure, he never completed the rehabilitation of any of the national refineries.

He gathered all the dollars in Nigeria and gave it to Dangote to go a float a new refinery.

Buhari is hyper-miles the worst vegetable a President can be. So poor and terrible in competence.

If we can get like 3 or 4 vibrant refineries working in Nigeria within the next 2 years, perhaps price can reduce.
Is it not obvious that Nigerian refineries not working is clear sabotage? Is it difficult to know that? Have you asked yourself why is the refinery suddenly going to work as soon as Dangote Refinery is coming up stream? Instead of hating on Dangote be thankful because he is the only reason the saboteurs are allowing the refinery to work finally.

IMF/World bank loans are weapons by the US and allies. For you to get debt cancellation you must agree to come back and borrow

Secondly, US do force weak countries like Nigeria covertly to take the loan.

I forgive you
