Why do businesses state payments/fees in dollars while it's naira that currency of the country?

Will this not add to why the naira is falling?

The school fees is extremely high how many average Nigeria can afford it.

Many private universities in Nigeria have as much high as this as school fees, may be you just didn't know.

Any University without Medical, Pharmaceutical and Engineering faculty is not yet serious.
Meanwhile, why not convert those Dollars to Naira and still get the same value instead of incurring raths from Nigerian citizens who feel you think less of their currency

Better to gather that money to be paid in 4 years and invest in a business

Enough of these mushroom private institutions springing up day by day. I think we need more "production factory/companies" let them channel more resources into production operations and create job for the populace.

How did we get to this stage? Where is NUC and Nigeria Government when they mostly needed? Imagine a University in Nigeria, Domiciled in Nigeria charging tuition in USD. Invariably most of their students would have to also depend on our little forex reserve. The same way some House owners demand thier rent in dollars in some part of Lagos.. Our Government must stand up to kick against these rubbish.... I see no reason why institution like this should exist or approved license to operate in Nigeria

Kindly justify why their fees should be quoted in USD? Was this how other universities in Nigeria quoted their tuition fees in dollars? If paying the naira equivalent on which exchange rate.... I repeat NUC has no business granting operating licenses for institutions like this.. Lets wait and see what become of this University
