While quoting tuition in $$ might not be ethically right, it's not wrong to do such. People are in business to make money and they are within their right to use any means necessary to achieve such aims. As long as the government do not outlaw asking and receiving $$ as a medium of exchange, it's all legal

How did we get to this stage? Where is NUC and Nigeria Government when they mostly needed? Imagine a University in Nigeria, Domiciled in Nigeria charging tuition in USD. Invariably most of their students would have to also depend on our little forex reserve. The same way some House owners demand thier rent in dollars in some part of Lagos.. Our Government must stand up to kick against these rubbish.... I see no reason why institution like this should exist or approved license to operate in Nigeria

This school is not yet ready.

I rather send my kids to UK universities than to pay such extremely high charges in a Nigerian university
$2-3k is not comparable to any UK or US university. Not to talk of the added expenses of pocket money, feeding, accomodation, air tickets etc.

It is illegal to quote services in USD if your business is not USD based.

Nigeria is a lawless country where anything goes. You can't charge fees in Japanese Yen in an American University and still retain your operational license.

The fact that you're poor does not mean others should avoid it, the school is still cheap compare other private universities around

Why are you people like this !!!!

You are all talking like illiterates ,that they advertised in dollars doesn't mean you will pay in dollars na.When they are not stupid, were do they expect people to see dollars from in this dollar scarcity period

Na marketing , trust me, seeing $3000 is better than seeing #3,600,000

When it comes to USD exchange, Nigerians are not stupid.

1. What is obvious here is that their tuition fees are is not fixed on the naira.
You know how unstable the naira has been with the USD. If today we have USD at 1,000 and the next day it's 1,150 you should know that a whole lot of money.

2. What kind of marketing strategy will encourage you to make your currency of no value. Which developed county will do this? And we strive to be developed?
