This is yet another allegation about these agents. With all sincerity, some agents are nothing but thieves. Someone that has never lived abroad or does not even know much about canada will come up here acting like an angel. I remember I asked one of them a simple question on whatsap and he told me to pay consultation fee. Now see this God, I did the application all by my self, family of 5...we all got our visa even under 3 weeks simultaneously. Whatever a man sows he shall reap. Do well so that people can speak well of you. A good name is precious than silver and gold. Please feel free to reach me here to for support. Little my little, we shall be free from the snares of these fraudsters and laggards. subzheero: 3 Likes |

Pls is it advisable to move huge funds from the account submitted to the embassy after statement has been printed and application has been submitted? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by MatrixReloaded: 3:39pm On Dec 26, 2023 |
Stardor:No. They will check and if the funds isn't there you will be refused. Nigeria banking system doesn't just freeze your account when you commit fraud and gets reported by financial crime commission. Same way a bureaucracy whom u gave a SOA will fish out the truth about your SOA. They have Insider in all the commercial bank Firstbank Zenithbank GTbank Access bank UBA Heritage Stanbic Fidelitybank Ecobank Providusbank All the external agents/reps on this banks will receive your SOA in a screenshot on their admin portal, it will only take few mins to detect misrepresentation on your file. So in such case if you present MyBankStatement, the embassy will locate your SOA on there portal which you provided. So its easier for them to double check than wait on there reps to help them. Often times reps make mistakes or reluctantly pin 📌 misrepresentation that's why they give option of clearing your self whilst sending PFL. They only do this scrutiny if you are self sponsor or close relative sponsorship. Regardless keep thr funds until u hear the gold news because even as you present MyBankStatement they can make u-turn and ask you for updated bank statement to be sure the funds isn't recycled. So they can tell you to submit a Bankstatement from the date of your submission to the last day before they sent you the message. E.g(if you submit Dec 1 and remove the money. They might say submit from Oct 1 - Dec 25th. 1 Like 1 Share |

Good morning All A friend of mine has recently lost his father. He already obtained a visa to Canada to start at Conestoga on January 8. Now, he wishes to defer his start date to September. Is it possible for him to defer, and will his visa still be valid for entry into Canada on the deferred date?" |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by MatrixReloaded: 5:15pm On Dec 26, 2023 |
iykedpetes:If he deferred the school will issue a new LOA with the new date. It's the timing of the study permit which he must comply with. If it expires prior to his arrival at the CBSA, they may turn him back due to expired permit. 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by kweje: 5:30pm On Dec 26, 2023 |
MatrixReloaded:I am quite concerned about some aspects of your response. It is unauthorized and not legal to give a customer’s banking balance or details outside what the client has authorized to a 3rd party. To suggest that IRCC is engaging in this is disturbing. When an applicant submits a MybankStatement (MBS), IRCC has access to only period given in the SOA via the proper channels. It would be worrisome if IRCC bank verification goes against privacy acts of clients and banks. While it is possible to get a request for updated bank statement, it is NOT the norm. Generally, it is advisable to keep the POF intact while waiting for visa decisions as much as possible. Anyways.. if any one has proof of those acts let them share for others to learn. Cheers 3 Likes |

iykedpetes:Huge condolences to your friend. It should be valid. The duration of study visas usually include the period of study and extra 4 months. Ensure he has a new LOA from the school showing he deferred handy to show at Port of Entry when he arrives in addition to other POE necessary documents. |

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of his father. He will need to pay the first-semester tuition fee before the request will be granted. If the study permit is valid, he can enter Canada for his studies. Again, I extend my condolences for his loss, and I wish him the best in navigating these challenging times and in his academic journey. iykedpetes: 1 Like |

kweje: I can tell you categorically that they don't do all that. Most pfl is because of overzealous nature some staff. I have been privileged to handle someone's pfl and the result you won't believe. I don't want to disclose somethings here. Also there is what is called mirror server. It can make your genuine statement look fake and even IRCC knows that. Just wish I can talk more |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by MatrixReloaded: 10:36pm On Dec 26, 2023 |
oloyemeji:Having an inactive cac doesn't really matter if you are a prospective student and your company isn't responsible for your upkeep. That been said if you are working under an organisation and they gave you payslip and you pay tax, its considerate to inquire about the statues of your employer business nature. It's rather a way to show how serious this company will forge ahead. If its your private entity or co/partner and they are inactive, it can be a positive remark that after your education you will address to that in due cause. |
