Study permit refused for a 4yrs program, sponsor is brother abroad, Age, 29yrs old.
Apllication was handled by an agent
I asked my bro the reason for refusal, he told me an obvious lie and I confronted him to apply for GCMS notes and he has refused to reply me.

Pls what do u guys think I should do next?

This is a bit funny, please you cannot cry more than the affected, if your brother does not care to share the issues with you then let him be, he does not need the help at all. At 29, he should know when someone like you is genuinely concerned about him and when he rebuffs your help, just leave him.

I did. A nairalander that I met here also did and both of ours are out. Maybe, you should if your resumption is January 2024.

Thank you. Kindly assist me with the link to raise a web form. My resumption is in January
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by mfonox: 2:48am On Dec 27, 2023
Good day house,

I applied since Oct 13th no response from IRCC. I had to defer my admission to May. Even though May is currently full for my program, the school suggested to put me on a waitlist to see those that will drop/defer for May so they can find a space for me

Do I need to inform IRCC this on the web form I intend to raise? If I don’t. When they are treating my application say after my resumption date which was supposed to be 8th January. Is this grounds for denial or is it possible for them to approve my application even after my start date has passed or too close to my start date?

Please advice.

2. The school also gave me an option to get a confirmed September admission or the waitlist and I chose the waitlist option. Do u think I should opt for the September instead? If I choose the September. Will this study permit(if approved) serve me for September? Or I’ll have to do a fresh application.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Stardor: 3:41am On Dec 27, 2023
I appreciate your take on this, Thank you.
kweje:

I am quite concerned about some aspects of your response. It is unauthorized and not legal to give a customer’s banking balance or details outside what the client has authorized to a 3rd party. To suggest that IRCC is engaging in this is disturbing.

When an applicant submits a MybankStatement (MBS), IRCC has access to only period given in the SOA via the proper channels.

It would be worrisome if IRCC bank verification goes against privacy acts of clients and banks.

While it is possible to get a request for updated bank statement, it is NOT the norm.

Generally, it is advisable to keep the POF intact while waiting for visa decisions as much as possible.

Anyways.. if any one has proof of those acts let them share for others to learn.

Cheers

MY TESTIMONY

My family of 4 landed in Canada 10th December so I am writing from Canada. The journey started 2022 August/September when I got admission for Spring 2023 .We have enough funds to give an agent to help us handle it .However, I can handle it myself but I just wanted to focus on other things.

My spouse and I contacted @Frankrobnn1,this guy messed up our application ,after payment of 600,000(agency fee) for family of 4 ,I was calling to beg him to even submit my application. I could remember December 2022 had to send him 30,000 for Christmas so that more attention could be given to my application. if you see the way this guy handled the application coupled with the SOP he wrote to support it, newcomers to Canada Visa processing application will not write the type of SOP @Frankrobnn1 wrote to support my application.

After visa refusals, I had to cancel my admission with the school and request for tuition refund ,now process another admission to another school for Jan 2024 intake which brought me and my family to Canada now.

I had to handle this application myself ,when I compared my packaging with what your so called guru did for me, I now realized that agent is a scam ,waste of time and funds ,they are out to collect your funds ,they are not after your success ,Even after refusal he was expecting me to pay him another 600,000.

Please for God's sake, the government website is cic.gc.ca for those that doesn't know. everything is there .Try and read up and get all the information needed on the government website. You can handle your application yourself...PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR FUNDS WITH AGENTS add it to your POF. Expenses Dey here oooo you need lots of money. I am always available for questions and clarifications and so many others are here willing to help you. MAY GOD HELP US ALL. Happy Xmas and New Year in Advance.

My terrible experience with @frankrobnn1

See you all in Canada.

Ire oooo

Well written and congratulations…pls do well to hate your timelines and reapplication packages if you can
AVOID AGENTS.. people fail when they don’t make researches themselves.. these agents always use ‘it will end in praise’ to deceive people because they can’t deliver..

Good morning house,
I applied for Canada study visa and I just got to see that Canada form next year now requires 20,600 for proof of funds. I've 27600 proof of funds but if you remove the remaining balance payment for my tuition it'll not be up to 20600 it'll be remaining some amounts. The balance payment for my tuition is 7700cad. Please how can this affect me.

Applied alone without the family in August and it was approved within 8 days...Spouse and the kids now applied together in September ,approval came in November,we now travel together in December.....For the POF l used 14m after payment of full tuition while spouse and kid gave them just 12m .However,if you have enough funds to show as family you can apply together at once.Applyin separately makes hometies stronger but if well explained on SOP l would prefer apply once.l have seen family of 7, 6 and 4 who aplied together this year and they were approved.

I think u misunderstood my post. What I meant is that he's the one helping me out. Although, the application was done through an agent

Just that I want him to get the GCMS notes to ascertain reason for the refusal but he's not replying my messages anymore.
