Tastes horrible. I said goodbye to that shit in 2020 when cost went up, and never looked back.

Most Nigerian tomato pastes are bland and tasteless.

I discovered it like 5yrs ago. Since then, I buy only fresh tomatoes no matter the cost

Since I married my lovely wife. I have been free from tomato paste. She does not like tomato paste, have never cooked with it. If she can't afford fresh tomatoes, she will switch to another type of stew.

Some tomato paste are actually made of corn flour and other ingredients so they are not pure tomato.

Raw tomato is relatively cheap now. I canceled out that shitty paste long ago.

In the south fresh tomato is expensive
