He added, “Lagos was not easy for many of you, but you went through it and today, Lagos State is the most viable state in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

Many of them and their parents who are not Yoruba who now see and covet Lagos today were nowhere when our state and the whole of Yorubaland was under seige and vicious selective punishment by successive Federal Military Government because our son, Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, GCFR, won a credible and fair Presidential election.

They were still in their villages envying, mocking and hating the Yoruba when our state was sabotaged and brought to its knees, filled with filth, bomb blasts, our Yoruba leaders being assassinated on our Lagos streets, idi-araba OPC wars successive Lagos military administrators could not solve but Tinubu solved , our Lagos central business district with eye-popping skyscrappers that was a ghost town throughout the 90s revived with massive infrastructure renewal, abandoned FG Bar beach with its coastal erosion taking over Victoria Island and chased businesses out of VI, every June 12 anniversary, they mocked us and many of them and their parents flee Lagos to their
home states never to return until we rebuilt our city.

Even our universities were not spared then with University of Lagos ULSU under Olusegun Maiyegun , Omoyele Sowore and their University of Lagos Students Union (ULSU) aluta Comrades and successors hounded and most SW universities starved of funds because our intelligentsia were actively supporting the June 12 struggles. Bayo Onanuga and his warriors doing guerilla journalism with Tempo Magazine. Late Ibadan-based muslim cleric, Ewi exponent and human right activist Adepoju dishing out protest messages.

They abandoned us and even moved the capital to Abuja and abandoned huge liabilities of dilapidated decaying infrastructures behind. We suffered while they mocked us. Out of all the ruins, we were led by Asiwaju Tinubu to build back our city. We built our own deep seaport, Lagos free zones roads, bridges, railways, multi-modal transport systems, teaching hospital, waste management system , security architecture, and we are grateful to God and everyone. We are grateful for the blessing of having a great, competent, brilliant, visionary and hardworking leader in Asiwaju Tinubu. We will never forget other Nigerians like Chief Frank Kokori of NUPENG, Bagauda Kalto, Chima Ubani, Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu, Dr. Bala Usman who were part of the June 12 struggle led by Late Chief MKO Abiola, GCFR.

Thank you Asiwaju Tinubu. God bless you sir.
May God continue to bless Lagos, Yorubaland and the rest of Nigeria. Check my signature for free stuffs!

May God bless you real good for this piece.

Why?
Former FCT
Port
International airport
Industrial hubs
Above are not established by Tinubu. Tinubu is a neo-emperor not a democratic.
What make him think his idea is the best?
Lame excuse
Was Calabar not a capital?
Even Abuja still lags the viability of Lagos

The Lagos Industrial hub was developed on the mainland by Awolowo and not by the Federal government. The Federal government still owns FESTAC, Game Village, National Stadium and the old Federal secretariat. Calabar, Warri, Port-Harcourt all have international ports

Port Harcourt also has

2 Ports
Oil and Gas resources
An International Airport
The oil and gas hub

Lagos was never the right location for an FCT, and that's why the federal government relocated the FCT to Abuja. Yoruba and Lagosians shouldn't be punished for being the FCT of Nigeria for 31 years. Lagos has taken 20% of Nigeria's population.

Why is a state that brags that they do not embrace godfatherism is allowing one useless fellow to control them their entire region from Finland through the facebook? Is that not worse than godfatherism that they obey him like mini god? Hahahaha

It will take many years of successive good adminstration and governance to bring Nigeria to a place of success.
Nigerians have no culture of planning and following blueprints. That's why most states keep going in circles.

Still waiting for the Blue print that Pathetic habitual liars left in Anambra. They will still run to internet that they built Lagos. Go back and develop your village they refused, They forgot that the Governor of todays Lagos state was part of Tinubu cabinet those days.
