Happyfellow147: Hi bro,. All been said, choosing between CIMA and AcCA depends on your experience and future path. If you'd like to work as an auditor or statutory accountant you might go for ACCA but if its more of business patnering, financial analysis or management accountant CIMA might be favoured but trust me an ACCA holder is also fit for such role. Please note you would spend alot and time with ACCA. I'll advise you go for ICAEW if you've had 5 years post qualification experience, you won't write any exams. However, if you do not have up to 5years post qualification experience like myself, kindly opt for CIMA which would grant you exemption but require you to write the last paper which is strategic case study. Also note that most big coys here accept ICAN(not all oo), I currently use my ICAN to work in industry but in the process of adding CIMA because I wan port to finance business partnering. I would also like to state that your experience matters more than your CIMA or ACCA. 5 Likes |

If you applied for PSW in December, how long did you have to wait before your application was approved? |

Datakey: There is no information you will get here on Nairaland that is superior to the one you will get from the Email Amex sent to you after you were approved. Follow the instructions on the Amex portal, the app and the email you received. It is pretty straightforward. 5 Likes |

Excellent. You should get access to download and sign up on their app. It would direct you on how to setup the direct debit. Welcome on board, use wisely, don't spend more than you have on your bank account. Datakey: 1 Like |

Hello house. Any hint on how to spend wisely when it comes to MOT. My two cars are due in January and February 2024. Does the Centre matter at all cos I am thinking of Halford since they are the one that usually maintain my car but I know they are expensive |

Abeg I need help. Has anyone traveled for Umrah from uk before and got visa on arrival with their BRP? I was using an agent to do the process but he said I can travel with the BRP and get a visa on arrival. I chatted Saudi rep online and got the attached response. The rep said visa on arrival is possible with UK resident permit and then he went ahead to made mention of having a permanent residence even after clarifying with him Iβm not on PR yet but I have a residence permit. Iβm really confused and donβt know what to believe now because I no wan get to Saudi and chop breakfast. Anyone with a practical experience please ?

DaveWonder:Networking and socialising with local community especially nigerians and africans in general can get you jobs faster than online applications. Almost every work place have in house referral systems that wants their workers to bring in their trusted person to work for them and they get paid for the referral. 5 Likes |
