tubolancer: A lot actually ... A lot that will be busy fighting the Igbo pending when the Fulani will kill them too as we have it in plateau EleventhWeirdo: Mumu man, for how long will we the Yoruba keep fighting Igbo knowing fully well the real problem is Fulani I remember clearly my secondary school (in Ijebu, Ogun state) been shut down because of activities of Fulani herdsmen, infact all school in the town were force to close due to fear of Fulani attack, this is long time before nairaland was even created, and the issue still occasionally persist I'm a full Ijebu boy and can see through this Islamist-Fulani gimmick, there are more than 50 thousand ibo and south south people in my home town yet not even once have we have communal crisis, far less than a thousand Fulani and we have to close all school not once not twice I didn't even know about this stupid Yoruba-igbo tribalism until I join nairaland despite been surrounded by people from south south and south east, this tribalism as far as I'm concerned only exists in our imagination But you see that islamic-fulani terrorist, no matter how you white wash it it is what I experience, using cows to eat farmland, attacking a full street because cow was missing (last last cow was found in a ditch), forcing Olabisi Onabanjo University to hurriedly close down This Fulani are not ready to integrate into any society, they have no value for their own life talkless of your own, and the funny thing is their leaders are solidly behind them while our own leaders are doing ibo-vs-yoruba Wake me up when one single person is sentence to death for the death of all the people in plateau, Sunday igboho was pursued out of Nigeria by Buhari why Fulani herdsmen that kills villagers in oyo walk free Open your eyes and see your true enemy, how many ibo/south south live close to you and how many physical communal clashes/death do you have 12 Likes |

Nonsense....the herdsmen still dey do their thing in Ose and Owo local government areas of the state. The Amotekun operatives are powerless in these areas. There are some forests in Ose and some areas in Owo local government that the Amotekun dare not enter. They can't combat those bush and evil herdsmen in these areas because of the kind of sophisticated weapons and arms these Herdsmen are carrying. Until they start carrying Ak47 and start being brutal, then they are just wasting their time. Imagine seeing 200 and 300 cows and still didn't do anything. They left the cows to continue damaging peoples crops and farmlands. They forgot that these Herdsmen uses juju and turn to cows most times. What is then the essence of going for the operation in the first place. This is why I like ESN. At the mention of ESN, those Herdsmen would run without looking back. Open fire on their cows and destroy anything that belongs to them including their motorcycles and tents. Give them madness and they will flee. Some of these Amotekun operatives should be given Ak47 rifles. It is possible. Some government approved Vigilantes in Anambra state now carry Ak47 under special supervision by the Police and the Government. If not, they are just wasting their time cos they can't fight those Herdsmen with Double-barrel and Pump action shotguns. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

4,000 Yoruba men killed? Pls when and where did the killings took place and at what time? I see this write up as another propaganda to start tribal jabs this morning because there was never anytime fulani killed 4,000 Yoruba in history of humanity till date so pls where did you got this information from? |

tubolancer:The 4000 they even put there is underreported. If you know what is happening is most rural areas in the Southwest you will weep. I am an Igbo man but I am not here to mock them. Most of these events are not reported at all. Sometime last year (2022), about 18 Vigilantee members and hunters that went to fight these Herdsmen were killed in Ondo here in Owo local government area. No newspaper or even ordinary blog carried it. One of the killed Vigilantee Men is a very close friend and also an Igbo man from Ebonyi state who had lived in the little town of Uso for over 20 years and was part of their Vigilante group. He was a learned fellow and owns a Chemist shop. After that, many other killings have been occuring till date and no one is saying anything about it. Even the Uso traditional ruler and the Local Police station here are helpless. The Fulanis can destroy your crops and when you report to the police, the Police will tell you to your face that there is nothing they can do about it. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Chucks13: I wouldn't dispute the estimate because many deaths have gone unreported with the victims' families taking their loss in peace and relocating quietly to avoid a repeat of the disasters. I strongly believe that we are at war with savage forces from across the Sahel who have no concept of society civilization or law and order. The problem is that these savage invaders are enjoying the complicity of some retrogressive ethnicities that are supposedly indigenous to Nigeria, hence the quiet response from the Nigerian government and Nigerian military at the highest levels. Imagine that the SW state governors have to depend on trained vigilantes to keep their states safe. 4 Likes |

Until it happens to you or your loved ones ( God Forbid) then you'll realize the current situation bedevilling our locals. Everything to you people is seen from a political standpoint, instead of using your head. Yoruba caused this problem for themselves and for other southerners out of selfishness and greed. How can a sensible human being support the grand patron of a terrorist organization because that's the surest way to make their drug baron of a leader get access to the national treasury and power? This is insensible as this terrorist leader and his drug baron associate will cause much more harm than good for an average Yoruba man. Only few yorubas will profit from this whole thing and they're less than 0.0000001% of Yoruba people. Tinubu and his associates, their friends and families will be given appointments while the average Yoruba man will keep getting poorer and unsafe each day because Buhari has emboldened his terrorists and Tinubu can't even fight them anymore 4 Likes |
