Addendum

SOUP/VEGETABLE
Eegun (the dried one is the luru soup of the Northerner)
Odo/omudo Koko - young, curly sprouting red cocoyam leaf (best for eating yam)
Esi (it's like pawpaw fruit, sliced, dried and sell dried - it's mostly added to egusi soup and it's very sweet itself)
Olu (mushroom)
Ishapa
Ilasha
Efo Worowo
Efo Yanrin
Efo ogunmo
Efo Yanapaja
Efo Guure (waterleaf)
Agboroko (seed of a particular specie of ugu vegetable- grounded and looks like egusi).
Efo Gbagba/Efo odu
Egbo'yin /Egboyin (thesame Banga soup in South South)

FOOD
Asaro
Abari (Abari tepo tiyo) It's like moi moi but made from grinded maize. Small qty of Beans is added sometimes.
Igbalo (like moi moi as well)
Elenkute (made from shedded, fried/roasted corn, pounded in mortal with groundnut - it's Yoruba snack)
Egbo (with beans)
Eko (ogi/pap)
Eko yiyi (Solid pap) eaten with soup
Esuru (the bitter specie of yam)
Kooko (different from Koko), cooked and eaten or fried (dundu) just like yam

I'll keep updating as I remember

There are so many Yoruba indigenous delicacies that's going into extinction because most of the family barely cook them aside the known/common ones.

This is why some believe Yorubas doesn't have food that much which is wrong.

I wish I can be cooking them as my mum do cook for us when we're still young.

Bro, you said I am a woman hater, you're wrong Egbon, you should have asked your mom about me, I treat her like a queen, much to her satisfaction.

You saying all that out of anger over something I don't know or maybe political differences.

You'll be fine Egbon mi.

Say me well to your mom, my sweet princess, and happy new year.

the way one lady called Dolapo Grey cooked the ogbono soup and posted it on Facebook. Most people disliked her method while a few Yoruba said it was apon style.
