The power of the house to remove the governor is over rated.

I belive the man has studied the law and seen that it is not as simple as obj made it look.


The only person that can remove the governor is the Chief Judge of the state who is empowered by law to set up a 7 man committee to study and judge whatever the house submits as allegations against the governor.


Once the verdict says the allegations are frivolous that ends the impeachment proceedings... There is nowhere in the law that talks of zonal distribution of the membership of the 7 man committee so they can all come from one zone... That of the governor.


It has happened in Nasararwa when Almakura was Governor and the pdp dominated house wanted to impeach him



The governor will end up buying majority of the members before the end of this year...

The chief judge is wikes kinsman and the governor can't remove or sack him, even if he does, the NJC has to nominate a chief judge, guess who is a life bencher and a member of the NJC?

Both wike and fubara are crooks. Fubara is governor today why won't wike allow him to be governor because he wants a large chunk of rivers money on a monthly basis. That is the cause of this whole fight and anybody supporting wike is a rogue.

He doesn't nominate... The power resides with a Council to recommend not nominate and it follows according to seniority in that state judiciary... It is not something that can be done by cherry-picking.
