Your post doesn't tell the full story! A lot of stolen wealth from Africa and India as well as cheap forced/slave labour were used to build what you're seeing there!
london was almost like the pic above even before slavery and colonialism

I'm very sure you don't know your mother. You're mother died while prostituting. Your grandma raised an ediot. Not her fault. Old age is not your mate
You must be sure because you think everyone share your disappointing disadvantages and subdued life, you that lost your practical trollop mother to unknown known gun men and cannibals, thanks for telling the story of your mother and despicable life

We know the level of bitterness and grieves that enveloped and shackled people of criminalities and unspeakable atrocities, the same people that killed other tribes leaders in 1966

Very true. It was stolen wealth from Africa that New Zealand, Australia, Russia, Saudi Arabia, UAE etc, also used to develop their own countries undecided

If this is how 1938 looked like, imagine what 1838 would have been, talkless of 1538?

And we wonder why Europeans look down on us and relate with us from a condescending position?

We never were, and never will be in the same league with them.

Here is a picture of London in 1938

Story. Qatar & UAE were far worse than this in 1938, but today they're up there.

the UK was fully industrialized 400 years ago. Nigeria is not even industrialized yet today. Most Nigerians are still subsistenct farmers and manual laborers. Anybody comparing Nigeria to any country in Western Europe is either a child or a full blown idiot.

Since you have decided to go defensive without facts,

Here is a 1920 picture of Birmingham, a 3rd tier city in the UK:

Iwo in the year 2100 will not look like Birmingham of 1920.

Our ancestors failed and we are continuing with the trend they set.

I await your next excuse for why Africa has/is still underdeveloped.
Birmingham a third tier city??
Do you know what's a third tier city?.. shocked

You open mouth call Birmingham a third tier city, your ignorance is shaming me my bro... 🀦

You are implying that Iwo too will be "up there" soon?

There is no prize for being first to comment without saying anything reasonable.

When the UK was being industrialized in the 1800s, what were our ancestors doing?

What was their excuse?

They were busy fighting for the slave trade not to be abolished. They wanted to keep selling people to the white man who no longer needed human labor because they had developed machines to do their grunt work.

Your critical reasoning faculties are rather weak, this is the beginning of the year, so there is hope for you.

you can't compare Nigeria to any Western European country. Know your mates. Our ancestors were a joke, we are a joke. Things the Whiteman did 300 years ago we have yet to do them. They are simply smarter, braver more serious than us. When they colonized us what do you think they were doing? Taking things from us to advance their lives.
Oh by the way, Europe was industrialized in the 1600s not the 1800s

Because you people have being configured to always see and hype negative stories. Yes, if Qatar, UAE etc could turn from a desert status to become what they are today, there's hope for Iwo too to be up there someday.
