This NNPCL, I thought that they have now been privatized. How come they are still responsible for determining what happens as regards fuel price and other crude oil matters?
Can someone explain this scam me? Because I’m not understanding

That scam is the reason we are in this quagmire

The economy is going to be in trouble.

Sticking to an obvious and very costly lie won't benefit the economy.

All the government needs to do is to increase interest rates which will lead to a strengthening of tge Naira, probably to around N900. Perhaps the government should peg the Naira at this rate and defends it at the parallel market.

This should bring the price of petrol to between 800-900 range. Government should then deregulate the price and hands off petrol importation.

Heard it was going to be increased to 1200, it would have been the beginning of the end of democracy in Nigeria.

Better, coz it won't be funny buying at #1200/litre.
Nigerians will still buy it even if the price gets to 5000 per liter. They will grunt & grumble for the first 2 weeks and after that, there will still be heavy traffic on the roads

So sad, if APC government tells you something will not happen, just know that is exactly what is about to happen.
Nigerians prepare for the worst.
