Hello guys , This is to update you on my progress : I applied for DHA evisa on 3/10/2023, completed payment and documents upload on 12/10/2023. 45 days after I completed payment and document upload I sent an email hacc on 27/11/2023 to follow up on the application but there was no reply. On 4/12/2023 I received an email notifying of correspondence on my dash board .On the dashboard it showed : Application Status : complete Progress Status : Adjudication outcome received. However there was no link to download the the document containing the correspondence. I have seen several posts here with people experiencing this, sent an email to Hacc and the eye button appeared within hours or at most a few days. I wrote several emails to Hacc but the eye button never showed up on my dashboard. They replied twice . The first reply, they asked me to look for the eye button . I checked all over my dashboard but there was no eye button. In the last one month I sent almost 32 emails with screen shot of my dashboard showing no eye button or document. They replied again this week stating that their records show that an outcome has been issued . Again they asked me to still go to the dash board to click on the " outcome", this time they didn't mention the "eye". In the second paragraph of the same mail there was a contradiction to the first paragraph, it read " An outcome will be communicated with you as soon as the application is finalised." In addition to Hacc I have written to : Yusuf.sumons@dha.go.za Tommy.makhode@dha.gov.za Shabnam.karachi@dha.go.za Tshifhiwa.maiwashe@dha.gov.za Yogie.travern@dha.gov.za Nischal.jaynaran@dha.gov.za Rooi.skosana@dha.gov.za I have read this thread backwards upto more than a year and I have not come across a post with information of outcome download eye button taking a month to appear Let me know if you have any suggestions on actions I can take in addition to what I have done so far. Thanks |

dynamicd28: I really do not want to make a bad statement on dha. Not my thing, however in recent times the DHA modus operandi has been really appalling. |

If you can afford calling their customer service. Pick it on the portal and call them tommorow. Goodluck. |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by spiceeamiee(f): 8:41pm On Jan 04 |
These are the documents they have asked to be uploaded but I want to know how to add my business documents, son’s birth certificate, landed property documents, etc. Can I merge them under any of these documents listed on the site? Also what do I write in the letter of explanation? Do I also need book tours since it’s a tourist visa? If so which sites can I book tours without paying? Please help 🙏🏻 hunee:

Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by hunee: 9:59pm On Jan 04 |
spiceeamiee:Alright. Supporting documents ( lands, educational certificates etc , use ilovepdf to merge them together) Subsequently, attach the document they request in the upload space. Pls make sure anything you are attaching, you don't leave your accommodation booking, flight and yellow fever out. Very important. All the best and patiently follow it through. |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by spiceeamiee(f): 10:23pm On Jan 04 |
Please under which column should I upload them? Like can I merge passport page and landed property documents and upload them as one file? Can I merge flight booking and business registration documents and upload them as one file? That’s my confusion. hunee: |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by dynamicd28(m): 10:43pm On Jan 04 |
hunee: What I did was to upload the documents they asked for alone without any attachments. Then optional documents I wanted to add to give my application more weight, I merged with my letter of self intro as one document. Hope this helps |

Oh.. thank you. I get it. Under which document should I upload this? Can I upload these under purpose of visit/invitation letter? Also can I merge two bank statements together? As in my business bank statement and my personal bank statement? dynamicd28: |

Please also my yellow card was issued in 2021 with my old passport number but my details pop up on the yellow card website and it says my card is valid. Can I still use the yellow card like that or do I need to do a new one with my new passport number? PS; I entered Qatar with same Yellow card in March 2023 but I don’t know how this SA own works. hunee: |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by hunee: 7:42am On Jan 05 |
Normally, a yellow fever is valid for 10years. If it carries your old passport number shouldnt be an issue, because it is stated on your new passport. The question now should be, will the approving officer be patient to confirm why you have those discrepancies ? Ofcourse, i can not prempt that; i also can not say get another yellow fever in the current passport number. Whatever you feel would be appropriate, please do it, it is your decision and money. spiceeamiee:Further more, be mindful that appeals are not allowed on evisas. be sure to get everything right. |

spiceeamiee: I have the same issue. What I did was explain it in my letter of self introduction. |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by spiceeamiee(f): 8:56am On Jan 05 |

Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by spiceeamiee(f): 8:56am On Jan 05 |

I need the same answer. My flight was on the 31st and till now I have not heard from them, to think I work for an SA firm, is very embarrassing. First of all they denied my visa claiming that my bank statement was not up to three months this was in Dec, I sent them an email sending them the BS I attached to the application and that it was 3 months and they asked me to apply again and that they cannot reverse their decision, this is after paying 87 dollars for the VFS online, one would think they will treat it as a priority when I reapply but NO. These people are fraud, yet they claim Nigerians are the cause of their problems. Massivedick: |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by profdam(m): 12:50pm On Jan 05 |
Is there a difference between applying for E-visa directly through the DHA website and going through VFS to apply for the same E-visa? I mean in term of speed of response. Thank you xkunzo: |

Hello all, Please does anyone has any idea or advise as to where and how I can book South African local flight from Johannesburg to Capetown and back. I’m to enter Johannesburg soon but I also want to visit Capetown, so if anyone knows the best way to book flight between the two locations, it will be greatly appreciated. |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by 080bjaked(m): 4:32pm On Jan 07 |
iggideon: FlySafair is usually the cheapest between Jborg and Cptown. Used them a couple of times and it was good experience (except for zero in-flight entertainment) However if your trip is mainly for tourism purpose, maybe you can use the bus or train (prasa has resumed back). That way you'd enjoy the trip but if you are constrained by time, flight is best. |
