You seem to be taking this personal. I guess you can't cook yourself. That's fine. As long as you are exceptionally beautiful, sexy and perhaps light skinned. Then you can be a trophy wife of a rich man and do little or nothing as there will be a retinue of domestic staff to take care of him for you EreluRoz: 2 Likes |

Feminists in 2015 to 2024: •I don't cook. I don't clean. I don't want kids. Uhhhh where are all the good men?!? They are: At home with their wives that are cooking, cleaning & raising their kids being great moms. I'm sorry you were lied to but it is what it is. 6 Likes 1 Share |

EreluRoz: exactly. the man can then find comfort in the company of a woman that does not struggle cooking for him. its not that he does not love his wife, its just that he does not enjoy starving 11 Likes 1 Share |

EreluRoz: Just pray make you no jam such women. I repeat just pray. I have colleagues that have never brought food from home to work. They will buy break fast, buy lunch, the only thing they eat at home is dinner. Tueh In my 12 years of working with these guys, it irritates me to see this trend. At least there should be a day your wife will make something nice for you to take to work, Lai lai, nothing of such. I thank God for my own oh. 5 Likes 1 Share |

OP, you failed fo bring the complete substance of this story from twitter. Now the commentators here are already bashing the woman in question out of misinformation. Have you bothered to tell them that this story resulted in a fierce twitter battle between Feminists and Patriarchs? As we speak the woman in question has been gifted over 2 million naira by Nigerian men, all in appreciation for her commitment to her marriage and love for her husband. Una can twist stories for this nairaland sha! No wonder Seun dey chop ban anyhow. |

EreluRoz:I NO GREE OOO. Saying because a woman doesn't like cooking but loves her husband flies as an excuse for the husband to tolerate that is utter rubbish. It's just akin to saying that a married woman who doesn't like cleaning or breastfeeding a newborn child should be tolerated. She must understand that as a married woman, she is EXPECTED to fulfill her duties as a wife or mother whether she naturally likes it or not. If she couldn't cope with cooking, why den did she decide to get married in the first place and then later subject the man to feel like he is still a bachelor in his married home. Even in western world where feminism and wokeness is highly propagated, the married women there wake up on time to prepare breakfast and prep the kids for school. 1 Like 1 Share

@OP: I believe there is this instinct to 'protect' what is ours. I remember when a colleague's wife started making a type of salad for her hubby because he bought custom home made salad from another female colleague. A married colleague collecting specially made meal from another colleague is actually crossing boundaries. If it once stemming from a discussion or the colleague has become a friend of the family, it is a different case. 3 Likes |

EreluRoz: And I think that is where the word SACRIFICE was coined...You do things you don't like doing for the sake of those you loved....As a man, do you think we like going to work by 5am, everyday just to make sure we pay our bills and provide for those we love...No we don't! I jokingly told a colleague recently that I can afford to resign my job by end of February, because my Jan/Feb salary is enough for me to manage till Dec, if am ALONE!!! 2 Likes |

turmacs: Why are u bitter over someone that is happily serving her husband? Social media is menace. Someone is happy you are forcing the person to think she's not happy. Is your home happier than her own? That's if u have one.. then STFU |
