This phone showed me shege, exact same problem I had 2 years ago, went to Carl care for repair but the price is at high side, the phone end up being a torch light at night before it fully packed up

If you had taken it to Igemburg 2 years ago that issue wouldn't have cost up to 10k to fix. It is just an IC to be replaced and that is all.

Engrs in the house please help.

My Redmi Note 9s just made some strange alarm noise and trip off. Since then, it hasn't come up.

I've noticed a pattern over the many years I've used Redmi phones.

The phones seems to get worse with every update.
The issues that the phones has are never addressed, instead superficial changes are made that do not solve any existing problem and in some cases, creates issues of their own.

The devs at redmi always have this obsession with providing updates without actually finding out what customer are already asking for. So basically moving forward for the sake of moving forward. No meaningful direction in mind.

SMH.
I've updated to hyper os on my note 12 and it's basically a theme that is almost 5gb in size.

The major issues I thought that will be adressesed like poor ram management will not adressesed.
Instead, the file manger now looks ugly AF and the data counter is now microscopic.
I just tire.

This is the last time I'll use a redmi phone.

You are the only one with this complain using the Redmi Note 12. Just backup and do a restore as the issues have been cached up there like forever.

But get an Samsung A55 next.

A series better is a lie. A series are heavily overpriced. And people buy base versions of Redmi and complain. How many people using Pro variants of Redmi Notes do you see complaining here day in day out.

Redmi Note 10 Pro is still selling almost 3 years later. E get why.

Though my next device will be a Xiaomi Mi series but if I ever have to go back to Samsung if I can't afford the S series I am not touching the overpriced A series.

Why in the world will an A54 cost between 450-490k?

Before they say I am a marketer,

You are the only person I have seen complain about hyper os on Redmi note 12,

Xiaomi group people on Facebook are full of praise on how it's feels lighter, better ram management and battery management

Run a factory reset and please hope your phone is not the 4gb ram version?also hope you have enough rom space left?

It is the 4gb ram version.
And the issue can't be space because I've been having these issues since the day I bought the phone

Well for 450k you're getting a better software and 4 years of future update plus a better camera system

The problem with you guys is that you're too price sensitive and overly obsessed with specs on paper

That's why you see some people capping like they can't spend 1m on an iphone when they can easily get three xiaomi flagship with same amount

Before you bring price nonsense to me. You need to know me first that price of a gadget is not my problem. Let me pause here for now.

But trust me when to know something is overpriced.

Value for money proposition is something you need to understand to avoid paying more for less in this technological world.

As for your device outside this thread I can't remember if I have mentioned it here I have always advised people to stick to buying 6GB Ram as 6GB is now the new 4GB/3GB.

4GB RAM is the new 2GB RAM.

Sometimes spend a little extra to get satisfaction.

No amount of ram or high end processor would make me choose chinese smartphones over Samsung and iPhones

I miss the times when people would walk into a phone store and just buy either Samsung, iPhone, Nokia or LG not minding the amount of ram/rom the said phone came with

This tech wokeness is disgusting

I love the display
And most especially i love how it execute apps fast and easily...
That was my major need and focus when getting the phone
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Incredible128: 5:34pm On Jan 06
Android these days sef require at least 6gb of ram to run well and 8gb to run smoothly (note that your ram type, i.e lpddr 4, 5 etc plays a small part too). As it was in the early days of android when 2gb of ram could run okay, 4gb has become the new "okay"

That's your personal opinion/ choice! You sound like those who say they can never use a Toyota, Benz all the way! They will pick a Benz 200 of the 80s over a 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser prado. If you like give a Samsung Galaxy A54 10 years of Andriod updates plus security patch, there's no way it can outperform a proper flagship killer device.

You got yourself a low end phone with HD display, not full Hd. The display in question is also an average LCD display so dont expect it to be great. One catch oems use to catch customers these days is huge ram and internal memory.
