Oh wow!
And one is supposed to be able to read your mind? You sure have a way of 'talking about something' without saying anything.
Rant? Rather infantile on your part.

One supposed to ask questions instead of jumping to conclusions. I don't owe u anything. I was talking to Deltamani and u jumped in to argue. All u had to do was ask which team I was talking about but u were so focused on finally winning an argument u avoided common sense.

Thatโ€™s enough Basco, I think the argument have been settled. We do need that argument sometimes to get abreast with or better still get to know more about the Womenโ€™s game.

UPDATED: Tinubu clears N12bn outstanding payment for Super Eagles, others

7th January 2024

President Bola Tinubu has cleared the outstanding payment that the Federal Government owed the Super Eagles and other sporting teams of the country.

According to a statement on the social media handle of Tinubuโ€™s Media Centre, on Sunday, the payment entails the clearing of the senior national team coach salaries running up to 15 months, payments of allowances and promises due to the senior national teams, females, and Under-20 national team.

The statement reads, โ€œPresident @officialABAT has approved the payment of N12 billion outstanding backlog for Nigeriaโ€™s National teams of various sports, which includes Super Eagles and others.

โ€œThe payment entails the clearing of the senior national team coach salaries running up to 15 months, payments of allowances and promises due to the senior national teams, females, and Under-20 national team.

โ€œThis is coming at a time when the Super Eagles of Nigeria are preparing to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations, which is billed to start later this month.โ€

Also, in January 2022, Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa said FG owed his teammates bonuses for two games.

Musa disclosed this in a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday as the Super Eagles few days to the Nations Cup.

โ€œRegarding the bonus, I think they are just owing us for two games now. Yeah, two games,โ€ Musa said. โ€œThere is no other outstanding outside these two games.โ€

Musa added that the players will โ€œbe having a meeting with the coach and maybe the NFF officials so we can take the next step forward.โ€

They are out of the champions league be that. Without Kerr I donโ€™t see them beating anybody meaningful.

Sad news for her sha. She just came back looking strong and now this.

Oga, the issue baffles me too!
Itโ€™s been more than 14 years since the repeal of Decree 101, yet the NFF cannot effectively function without funding from Abuja. Itโ€™s a big big shame, considering that many national FAs are essentially private entities who are near 100% self-sufficient.

It's not rocket science. The NFF will never be self sufficient as long as they know they can always get money from th FG (even if they delay). It's like a guy who refuses to take responsibility cause he knows his parents will always give him money. Let the FG cut them off and you'll see the NFF become very efficient.
