Bro,

Please kindly shed more light on this profile.

HND-2013 (civil engineering)
PGD-2021 (civil engineering )

I currently have 8years+ working as as site engineer

I want to assess with EA as a civil engineering draftperson, but with my HND so I can claim points for my 8 years work experience.

Please kindly advise the possibility.

Can EA assess my ND and HND for civil engineering draftperson?

Civil engineering draftsperson CED is assessed by Vetassess not EA.
Also CED is different from site engineer. So your job descriptions must be at least 80-90% CED.
You will have to provide all the 3 transcripts and certificates

1. They may or may not. List of documents here

https://www.vetassess.com.au/skills-assessment-for-migration/skills-assessment-for-professional-occupations/am-i-eligible-to-apply-with-my-professional

2. You have to lodge an EOI for each state. Please take your time to read through this thread from the beginning. And no, there is no automatic nomination. You will have to apply and pay for nomination in most cases.

3. Australia uses AUD not USD.

Thank you very much.

Civil engineering draft person is assessed by, both EA and Vetasses actually.

As regards JD, I will check that up also.

Internal Auditor

BSc - Unilag and MBA - University of Lincoln, UK

I have all documents that may be needed, Payslip, tax, Employment letter ,Bank statement showing salary, Pension statement, Personal Tax statement
Reference letter from employers

Is there an alternate route the score could work for or I will have to rewrite the English test

Thanks

tunlex01:

What kind of auditor? Internal or external?
Your universities? The year of graduation for each degree?
Documents available for the employment?
English score is not good enough. Minimum of 7 will get you there, minimum of 8 will move you faster

For EA, tax or pension is required.
If you don’t have, you may not be able to claim points for those years of experience. You can assess just your qualification (CDR) with EA. Also, you can get your company to pay the outstanding personal income taxes on your behalf.

Private companies are not exempted from tax or pension except in some special situations

Thank you for your consistent and swift responses.

The company operates more like a sole proprietorship, and I'm exploring the option of paying personal income tax myself, but I need to inquire about the process.

Unfortunately, there are no tax or pension records available from this company.

I'm in need of 20 points to meet the required threshold:
Age : 25 points
Qualification : 15 points
IELTS : not done yet.
Although I have about 8 years of working experience, I lack tax records to claim those points.

I considered the self-employed route, but my company was recently registered, and I don't have updated documents yet.

Given these circumstances, what would be your advice on obtaining the remaining 20 points required for the application?

Those qualifications would fly for Internal auditor. Ensure your team is actually independent; that's what Vetassess look out for the most for internal auditor assessment. This is depicted in your organogram.
No there is no alternative route for that. Internal auditor is competitive so high scores are expected to even get a nomination.

I would say pay outstanding taxes and apply for a tax statement/clearance

Yes. It’s compulsory.
Speak to your HR or Accountant on how to get tax statement or clearance. Tax deduction on payslip does not change the name of the document; it’s still a Pay slip not a tax statement or clearance.
If you work in Lagos and you have a tax ID, you can chat LIRS on their website

I've worked independently as a civil for the past years, I've a registered company
For this period but not a tax clearance.

Would getting tax clearance validate the experience for all this years?

I don't have payslip and have done most business with other account

I have over 5 years of proven experience in chemical plant operations with Anzsco code of 399211 while I have both bachelor and masters degree in chemical engineering with Anzsco code 233111. My years of work have been in operations and not process design which is mostly the job description of a chemical engineer.

Please advice what to do. I am confused as to which assessment to do.

You can assess as a Production or Plant Engineer

I have similar challenge, my designation is plant operator and with chemical engineering background to masters level. Do I also have to do the plant or production engineer assessment instead of chemical engineer assessment.

Accountant assessment requires IELTS Academic or PTE - minimum of 7 or 65 in each band.
If you did not graduate from Accounting from OAU, FUTA, UI or Unilag, you need to add your Masters.

Documents for Self employment
Business (CAC) registration certificate
Letter from your accountant/lawyer stating your job descriptions and key dates
Bank statement showing business transactions
Company Income tax statement or Personal Income tax statement
Copies of invoice issued to customers
Copies of invoice received from suppliers
Organisational chart
Company Financial report
Letter from clients indicating the services you provide to them

Documents for Employee
Employment letter
Payslips
Bank statement showing salary
Pension statement
Personal Tax statement
Reference letter

YOu will need to provide more details for both first and second degrees for yourself and spouse like your course, year of graduation, the university, course duration (4 or 5 years) and the period of experience (for example,GIS 2011-2017 and tax accountant 2017 till date). Something like that.

For tax accountant, you need to have a degree in accounting or ACCA or ICAN to get a positive assessment. It's a no without an accounting qualification.

Also, all marketing roles are level 1 occupation which requires a bachelor's degree which your spouse does not have so technically, she's not eligible due to her qualification
Hello, please review my profile.

Age - 29
Degree - Accounting unilag and ACCA chartered
Experience as an accountant for 6yrs
Thinking of applying under 189
Hoping to meet the Ielts requirements soon
Also can I apply with my partner (planning to get married soon)

Is there any POF required and how long might the process take?

Civil engineering technician is assessed by Vetassess while Draftsperson is assessed by both Vetassess and EA. Please check the job descriptions for each and select which one best describe your role. Then visit their respected to read about the process.

Vetassess website (you can type it on Google) and read through their requirements

Go through your spouse if they have a skilled occupation and you can start your process while offshore
Or go through UK PLAB
3rd option is through the standard pathway for international practitioners (check MedBA website). You will need to sit for the AMC/MCQ exam.

399211 is not being nominated in any occupation list at the moment so that’s not going to work.
233111 - if you can skew your experience towards this, you can assess. If not, just assess your qualification only with EA. You won’t be able to claim points for experience if it’s not related. So that means you don’t get expeirence points but you will be able to nominate 233111, just get as many points as you can get

For welding with TRA, you need at least 3 years experience to get a positive assessment. Those 3 years must have verifiable documents like payslip, pension, bank statement, and tax to get a positive result. Industrial expeirence does not count in this regard.

So come back after 3 years expeirence and you will be a baller

Yes, you can add your partner if you are married. They can also add English test to your point.
Only Queensland require POf and the process can take between 9 months to 3 years depending on how lucky you are.
