The part about how TB Joshua encouraged them to call him Daddy and how they were treated like children, is a major part of Nigeria's problems. Many Nigerians want to be treated like children. They don't want to do independent thinking. They want someone to take care of them and baby them. It's a lack of responsibility and accountability that drives a broken society. This is why democracy cannot work in places like Africa. Dictatorship is needed because the people don't want to be responsible.

Finally after many advice and after she claiming she will run away with the guy and get pregnant for him without marriage, the pastors hand was bend to accept their marriage and guess what happened after then, members started moving away from the church, trust Nigerians they drag this pastor everywhere in town, saying he doesn't practice what he preaches, that how can he be condemning stealing and yahoo and her happily marries his daughter to one. they called him hypocrites and all sort of names. so here you have it, some children are more dangerous than you think.

The Nigerians who participated in the documentary still do not realize how they were manipulated. TB Joshua manipulated the whites with Western psychological tactics. He used African psychological tactics to primarily manipulate Nigerians. He told the Nigerians he was getting revenge on whites for what they did to us. He used bloody sheets, daggers in people's pictures, and wearing red cloth, to make Nigerians fear him. As they said in the beginning, it was all a game to him.

And sometimes you don't just believe what people far away from you are saying until you interview them one on one. People may tell you this and that, as far as they are far away from you or you haven't met them before, it is better you take their testimonies like a pinch of salt. If you go near and investigate thoroughly, you will be surprised by the outcome. Many people are paid to say things in the ways which are not, many want to follow the trend and many people under the critical influence of religion are already mixing up realities with imagination and they can't tell one from the other, such that they live based on what they hear people say. So it is a complex matter and only close investigations and interviews can get you close to the truth.
Do you know how many millions of people have dreamt of the rapture and how very imminent it was, but in the end we are still here. Even many Hinduists have dreamt of seeing their god with two heads or four hands, yet it doesn't change anything about the actual reality of life. That's how people's testimonies are from afar.
