If Bosun Tijani turns out to be same, I'd lose it. He's representing a very important demography given the sector is coming from, and I have high hopes for him.

Is it really about APC or individuals, parties don't make people but the other way round.
The earlier we agree that no politician is clean, the better for us. We can only have better ones but never a perfect one.

Anyone wey dey do this or get anyone in the household doing this cannot claim adjacent anymore. Actually anyone who ever stepped into Igbobi cannot be adjacent anymore, That was the downtown of street especially secondary school level. You have already been exposed to things not 3rd party narration o, personal experience trumps anything narrated.

If Davido had gone to say a Federal Uni and met some real goons then he could have had some real life experience, Most at Babcock and Covenant were boys wey think say sneaking to parties and smoking weed is the peak of "badness" at a regular uni you will meet real "animals". Some of them murderers and real thugs
I had schoolmates that were narrating their experience of killing and seeing people killed in Warri crisis back in 98. Wetin I dey talk sef, The Fryo wey dem say kill Bola Ige na person wey we dey see for school regularly

Make una liv Ibemi mke e dey jojo... Igbobi of those days. My cousin attended that school with the likes of Epawon, Elenu and late Solo... 80% of dem boyz for DAT school na psychos.

Since it is not about party, how come the party cannot pick an individual with integrity?

Or are you saying in the whole of Nigeria, no soul is clean enough to handle our yams?

The structure of the party is corrupt. Its chairman was caught on video stuffing dollars, yet they made and crowned him a chairman.

You cannot openly join such a party and rise through the ranks, and I'll believe you are a man of integrity.

The Pastor who was a presidential candidate can attest to what i am saying.

Perhaps the guy is not as clean as we thought afterall .

I don't mean clean clean, but at least make ur hand no dey cookie jar like these guys na.

Look at this Tunji-Ojo guy, he seemed like he was on a mission to clean the corruption in the immigration/rid the process of passport issuance of age-long corruption that had bedeviled it for years. He seem to know the problems and was ready to proffer solutions .

Now we are finding out he's equally corrupt as the guys he's trying to take out of business(The passport office racketeers) ; he gets contracts as chairman of house committee from an agency he was supposed to be overseeing. Which obviously translates to him being part of the rot in the NDDC. How does that person now look us in the face and claim he's fighting corruption?

Na so all of them be. They don't care about corruption. If you dig deep into the passport reforms, you'll realise all he's doing is re-route the prayers from some peoples mailboxes to others where he has interests.

This was the same issue some of us had with PO on this thread. All that sanctimonious bullish!t does not fly.

That's the difference. An Olamide go don involve in street fights before while Davido na only mortal combat he learn fight

But you were a staunch advocate of Peter Obi's difference and frugality even until a month to the election when Wike's preference for Tinubu became apparent. You switched because Wike switched.

You must be confusing me for someone else. Someone I was calling a con man right there in the post you quoted. I was never his advocate.

The only person I would have supported for presidency was Wike. When he lost the primaries, that was it.

I was not convinced by any of the candidates

PS: I concede that if I wasn't tied up with work on election day, I would have voted for him. That does not make me his advocate.

But on a serious note how can u support Wike to rule a country like Nigeria ? Like he’s the worst of all the presidential aspirants in terms of his garrulous uncouth & garrulous nature , corruption , his penchant for violence and being unstable as a person .

A Wike presidency will leave Nigeria divided more than u can ever imagine . Buhari’s government will be child’s play compared to his.

Because I witnessed first hand how he handled insecurity in Rivers State and I believed he can replicate it at the national level.

Were it not for his "proactiveness" and ruthlessness, Rivers State would have been overrun by those ESN miscreants.

There is no way wike will clinch any nomaination

If he does the opposition will just rest

Bring out videos of him proudly announcing rivers is a Christian state and the entire Muslim vote is gone

Bring out videos of him casually defending bloodletting in Obigbo and the SE vote is lost.

Wike is incapable of playing the long game.

When you read everything Ibime has said about the casual violence and thuggery in pH, you will understand wike is a complete product of that environment. And all he knows is violence.

There are people who can walk both lines - be a thug today, diplomat tomorrow - who can code switch as required. That is not wike.

When you think about amaechi and Fubara are also products of that environment, but they both can code switch. Fubara has demonstrated that he can be a thug, but he has also demonstrated that he can play the diplomat game.

What is extra judicial killing?

6 military officers and four policemen were killed in Oyigbo. One of the military officers was burnt alive. What kind of response were you expecting?

Let's not even forget how they beheaded policemen at Emuoha and ran to Oyigbo to hide.

These are the monsters who were killed and people are saying it's extra judicial killing.

On the issue of street cred don't let the calm demeanor or the good upbringing of an individual fool you into thinking that individual can't be brutal more than those born and raised in ghetto. I know of a boy whose family provided all he needed but he was the 2nd in command nobody knew about this until the rival group took him out in school. I know of another during my undergraduate days he used to call me whenever it's time for prayer but he was one of the top guys he too was taken out.

And then the military went on a killing spree ; killing both the innocent and the guilty.

I'm sure if u know anybody that died in the retaliatory attack by the military u won't think the military's actions are justified. Like imagine being in ur house and military men breaking into ur house with intent to inflict serious injury on u because criminals attacked the military.

At least unlimited22 was giving updates back then . See u justify that kind thing .
