izzou: If i had relative beheaded I would want justice, not military killing innocent people. Those military guys even killed a couple that were few weeks to their wedding all in the name of avenging the death of their colleagues. This country na jungle anyways, na why people dey gloss over military killing unharmed civilians all in the name of maintaining law & order 1 Like |

BlueRayDick: And how do we really get this justice? Imagine families in the SE and NE that have had their loved ones killed by gunmen, and up till today, no justice. Nothing as happened. May God not let us be a victim of circumstances. But if you ask me, what Wike did, is the reason why Rivers is not in this madness; not like i am justifying it. 1 Like |

BlueRayDick: Now you're the one making emotional arguments. Me and you don't have the Intel available to the military. How do you know who is innocent and who is not? The fact a man is in his house and militarily breaks in does not automatically make him innocent. 3 Likes |

izzou: I am forever grateful to him. The number one job of a governor is security of lives and properties. We don't need ninnies like Ortom who instead of acting, they release statements blaming the FG on social media and shed crocodile tears on TV. 3 Likes |

Itsrm: So the people who narrated their ordeals in the hands of the military are all guilty because the military says so ? Which intel did the miliatry have that made them start shooting anybody on sight ? Read the excerpt below and tell me again that this is just emotions This is a moving story of how the Nigerian Army inflicted war-grade assault on Oyigbo community in Rivers, killing many residents, and injuring many others. It is another case of gross human rights violations. |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 10:31am On Jan 10 |
izzou: The fact that Nigerian military and security forces fail at their primary duty(which is security of lives and properties) does not confer on them right to cause grief to families of people who know next to nothing about the initial criminal acts of IPOB/ESN. How do u rationalize killing innocent people while u are seeking justice ? U are only causing more grief to others and making more future criminals/monsters 4 Likes 1 Share |

BlueRayDick: We are saying the same thing, from different perspectives. It is absolutely wrong for the military to kill both the innocent and guilty. Very true. But at the same time, what Wike did is the reason they are not part of this madness, and you know this is true. The remaining SE and NE governors that did not use Wike's method, are battling with one grroup or the other till today. On front page, BH has killed 6 people yesterday. Na person papa and mama be that oh. I am justifying it. I am simply saying what Wike did is why Rivers is not part of this madness, and you know this is true. 1 Like |

In one week, President Tinubu •Suspended an errant minister •Summoned another minister over a controversial contract •Reduced his travel entourage and dramatically cut costs •Dismissed two CEOs of federal parastatals for gross negligence •Acted on the six weeks degree for cash program by blocklisting Benin and other nations •Announced plans to build a new Chinese-built steel plant in Nigeria •Launched the automated passport portal •Cleared the ₦12 billion outstanding for the Super Eagles and other national teams •Began paying the wage support benefits to civil servants •Disbursed ₦105.5 billion for 266 road repairs •Intervened to bring peace in Sierra Leone after the foiled coup attempt In one week, Tinubu has achieved what Buhari would have taken one year to complete. This vindicates what I said during the campaigns, that any of the major Presidential candidates would have been better than Buhari. The downside is that the administration is not projecting these achievements. They probably need to understand that effective rebranding of Nigeria will only take place when we project positive things that are already happening. If you don't blow your trumpet, your enemies will blow your downfall. - Reno Omokri 2 Likes |

BlueRayDick: If they are innocent, their death is regretted. They paid the supreme price for the peace we enjoy today. They are victims of "war". What cannot be taken away is that, the method of the governor worked. Many more would have lost their lives if he had folded his arms. |

iamoyindamola: Well it's too early to determine whether their revenue has fallen or not; the review of the student visa is just taking effect this January. Na when year-end and dem bring out figures of this year's applicants vs last year we go really know. Single people will still enter UK through the student's visa route, na married people go dey majorly affected. |
