Philip4564:If you stay in the east, Enugu precisely, then join building construction industry. It won't be easy from the start but trust me, you will be earning much with time but you can earning nothing less than 3k as a starter for serving a mason. And if you can, learn brick laying or whatever niche in the industry that interests you. You will earn big. |

I am going to be very fair to you, don't take that job. The poor remuneration apart, it's waste of time. Think of any skill you are passionate about, look for someone in your neighbourhood that can teach you the skill and explain to him why you really want to learn that skill. He would accept to teach you even if it for you to pay him later. The first three months of apprenticeship may not be rosy, but I can guarantee you that before six months even as an apprentice you will be able to employ someone and pay him that 30k. God will see you through. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

To be sincere with the worthlessness of naira, and the exorbitant price of commodities at the moment, as a graduate instead of doing 30k job per month, would rather be playing bet Naija 2 odds daily. 1 Like 1 Share |

It's very pathetic and I feel so sad when I see graduates struggling to get menial jobs. Anyway u just have to accept it while you continue your search. |

Re: Earning 30k Monthly Salary As A Graduate by Whatisurproblem(m): 6:52pm On Jan 10 |
WolfOfWalstreet:for those advising you to take the job, bad advice #30k as a graduate will ruin you! It will send you into depression, as a security, the moment you open gate for 200Level student who is driving Venza, you will be more frustrated and demoralized, this is the reality. A plate of indomie now is #1000, let's say you eat twice a day, #30k won't feed you for 15days! You will need toothpaste and soap, if your clothes wear, can you afford another one? Probably you will need transport. Forget that food once a day, they will humiliate you with type of food they will give. My advice for you is this, what skill do you have? If you put it to use, you can save #30k a month after your expenses, you must have a skill, that's why you are a graduate, like can you drive? Get someone to give you a car for Bolt, with time you can get atleast #15k for yourself daily. If you can work 4times in a week , you know what you can get, and the caliber of people you meet can help your destiny. But as a security, everyone will look down on you. If you can't drive, there are other better skill you must have as a graduate that will pay better and decent. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Philip4564:Don't you dare accept a 30K job! That's like #1000 per day! Tufia! With your level of education, please think outside the box and find a skill that you can sell to the world. The problem with doing that kind of menial job is that it will obstruct your creative thinking skills and restrict you to someone who is merely 'surviving' as against living. 30K job, 50k job and all those yeye jobs are like traps for graduate. Only a few graduates have been able to free themselves from it after wasting away their productive years. My brother, learn a skill or think of using the one you have to make a living. Don't fall for that trap you may not get out of it. 30K kwa? Tufia! Even POS people are paid more than that. #School_Without_Skill_Na_Big_Scam 4 Likes 1 Share |

Whatisurproblem:God bless you my brother! You see the problem with most Nigerians; they merely want to survive rather than live life. Little wonder you'll see Ms.c degree holders going abroad to wash toilets. Nonsense! 2 Likes 1 Share |

omooba969: The reality of life in Nigeria is that financially growing guys mostly attack broke girls who are just looking for someone to gift their responsibility. Immediately dating start, you become an assistant father, fathering all her needs and sometimes that of her family. Moreover a broke girl's idea of building with a growing guy is staying with him to devor all that comes without a single input. So while 2 heads are better than one its takes time and grace even luck to find the second better head. 1 Like 1 Share |

I will advise you to take the job. This is not time to consider certificate, you need to survive first. Don't get comfortable with that job, you will meet with people without ambition in that job, some have spent eight years on that job and have no plans to leave soon. As you are surviving, be talking to people about your plight, tell people you are a graduate, sometimes, visit job agent that can bring job of 60k. Financial breakthrough don't happen overnight, and people carry different grace, just do what you can legitimately to survive. It is a phase that will soon pass. I am telling you this out of experience. Growth is a gradual process, it takes consistency, patient and will power to succeed. May we always find better opportunities to grow. 1 Like |
