uniquetechng: Ok. May be you are right. Are you now say..if you have a company you must not allow your company to bid for any government project as long as you are serving in that administration? Even when you know your company have the requirements to bid and win a contract without your influence? 1 Like 1 Share |

Godfullsam:That's the law as a civil servant, it's to stop politicians from awarding contracts to themselves which will give room to overinflation of contract sums and embezzlement. The rule is there, you can check it out yourself. One thing should know is that there is no ignorance in law, laws are laws therefore no one should be exempted. 1 Like 1 Share |

Iziquiel: Precisely. Their whataboutism is hypocritical, insincere and driven by hatred of any progress, however great and transformational, once such is delivered by those they hate fundamentally. Same as terrorist. The wicked woman below, who wants the baby cut in half, is the personification of these people as a group. Wicked and anti-Nigerian to the core. Anything/anyone that brings progress, joy and development for Nigeria and Nigerians they want torn down and destroyed. For the amazing work of Tunji-Ojo, I can testify to haven used the passport renewal service after he became Minister of interior, I think most Nigerians should support him and hope he is cleared to remain in the job he has performed wonderfully well in. Those asking him to leave simply want a return to the horrendous and throwback status quo so that President Tinubu they hate immensely is also tainted thus, in their myopic minds, meaning a better chance for their candidate in 2027. They do not care that if the Minister of interior is hounded out then we may return to the grim scenario of literally every immigration officers extorting Nigerians and causing them stress, misery and depression. Ghana we love to look down on have copied the UK and Co whereby Ghanaians use their biometric passport to go through e-gates on return to their country meaning no interaction, unless for suspect luggage, with immigration officers from embarking the plane to leaving the airport. That is where we are heading to and I am sure we will reach that dream status for Nigerians, a norm worldwide for more than a decade now, under our super-competent minister of interior. Yet the many, many immigration officers working at our airport, and their hungry bosses, will not like this. They want retrogression that causes misery for Nigerians to remain in place because they profit massively from such. Land border too the same.. It is disheartening and I have to say I pray daily for Tinubu to be the President to return us to regional governance so that my region, with people who are balanced, rational and progressive in the majority, can leave the self-sabotage and madness of Nigeria behind to thrive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_az3eNb0fI?si=5H2sTvRhZSViCxv8 1 Like |

Jlow2: Stop your misinformation. Betta Edu is not Igbo, she's from Abi LGA of Cross River. |
Re: Betta Edu: Tunji Ojo Should Resign by TopBanter: 2:46pm On Jan 10 |
DMerciful: What baseless propaganda? Who does not know you as bigotedly anti-progress to the extent you are never able to see let alone praise any good initiative of the Tinubu Government. Nothing is good about Nigeria today unless it is from your messiah Obi when the reality is that he has to join the queue and try again in 2027 meaning every decent Nigerian, wherever they may be from, should hope Tinubu can uplift our lives even if he was not their choice. Tinubu, after 4 or 8 years, will be a failure in my eyes if he retains the self-destructive 'one Nigeria' model that keeps me in nationhood, as currently convened, with an enemy-of-progress such as yourself and your irredeemable co-travellers in hate here like Racoon, Prince Of Lagos, vanbonnatel Odin13 etal. Nothing is more attractive to me in life today than a SW under regional governance with a great Premier as we had in Awolowo at that stage. Living in a household or compound with haters, who wish you failure and misfortune, is a tragic and terrible way to live life. Let Tinubu be the President brave enough to free progressive, sane and balanced people from that lunacy so your ilk can confine you bad belle, fundamentalism, sadistic vindictiveness and negative anti-progress energy to your region |
Re: Betta Edu: Tunji Ojo Should Resign by TopBanter: 2:51pm On Jan 10 |
Jlow2: Lol. If you really love progress, that even you and everyone related to you can see and feel, then you would pray passionately Tunji-Ojo is not discarded frivolously and unless it is exhaustively proven he did wrong. Your mention of Igbo and Yoruba only shows that you are not a lover of progress as much as you are a devotee of tribalism and ethno-religious chauvinism. The sort that leaves you totally blind to the good done by those you hate on account of their ethnicity. |

TopBanter:never be deceived you can’t remove tribalism and religion in Nigerian politics, from awolowo crosscarpeting and emilokan, so been tribalistic and religious is part of it, why has Ojo not been suspended? |

Re: Betta Edu: Tunji Ojo Should Resign by TopBanter: 4:13pm On Jan 10 |
Jlow2: Why should Tunji-Ojo be suspended when all that is available to the public is hearsay gossip about his position in the company in question? Is it not the right course of action to investigate and gain facts that will make clear any judgement to be reached? Compare with Edu who directly intervened to influence the transfer and diversion of funds issued to the Ministry she is head of to use judiciously on behalf of Nigerians. |

DMerciful: You mean propaganda that your Messiah has confirmed himself on different occasions? |
Re: Betta Edu: Tunji Ojo Should Resign by DMerciful(m): 5:21pm On Jan 10 |
You only hear what you wanna hear. He never confirmed he invested state funds in his family business Iziquiel: |
Re: Betta Edu: Tunji Ojo Should Resign by searchng4love: 5:21pm On Jan 10 |
uniquetechng: Then you must be 80 years old to be my father's age mate. If so you're the textbook definition of misery... dragging age group on nairaland. Now old for nothing.... a civil servant can be defined as a bureaucrat hired by the government to work for the public sector. Public servant, on the other hand, is an elected or appointed member of the government for social or public services.. Now stay off my mentions.... unless you're ready to be humble and submissive to me. |

DMerciful: Below are links of a video and an article on Obi confirming that he invested State money in a company where his family has shares. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ze2Onm6DmW0?si=YslfKZxNTvF8Gzkd https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://saharareporters.com/2019/01/30/peter-obi-questioned-why-he-invested-30m-state-funds-company-where-his-family-owns-shares&ved=2ahUKEwjp1OGzn9ODAxV1QkEAHaOMBfEQFnoECBoQAQ&usg=AOvVaw29BZJqM9jOWf7TG3YFZV6A. |

Having shares makes it his family business? You can see how you embellish his statement to deceive your kind! Iziquiel: |
Re: Betta Edu: Tunji Ojo Should Resign by Iziquiel(m): 6:25pm On Jan 10 |
DMerciful: So why do you want Tunji Ojo to go because a company that belongs to his family was awarded a contract by the Government? |
Re: Betta Edu: Tunji Ojo Should Resign by DMerciful(m): 6:29pm On Jan 10 |
If he is found to have broken the law, then he should face the consequence Iziquiel: |

In a serious clime, Minister Ojo has to resign. |
Re: Betta Edu: Tunji Ojo Should Resign by Iziquiel(m): 7:54pm On Jan 10 |
DMerciful:Lol. But that has not been your position, in fact, you've already found him guilty hence, the reason you're calling for his sack. Now, my confusion is this, why is Tunji Ojo guilty in your eyes but Obi is not when their cases are similar? Obi claimed Next belongs to his family, that he resigned from the board before he assumed office as Governor, Tunji Ojo is also saying same thing, that he resigned from the company in 2019 and even showed the public a certified document from CAC as evidence. So Sir, how come Ojo is guilty and Obi is not? |
Re: Betta Edu: Tunji Ojo Should Resign by DMerciful(m): 9:14pm On Jan 10 |
If you can point where I called for his sack I'll know you're a truthful person Iziquiel: |

The Yoruba presidency is playing tribalism . |
Re: Betta Edu: Tunji Ojo Should Resign by DMerciful(m): 11:20pm On Jan 10 |
You're beating around the bush. I said if he is found culpable, he should face the law. I'm also ok if he is granted a presidential pardon but saying he should be given immunity by virtue of performance is where I disagree. In all honesty, i dont believe in going after few hundred millions when stealers of billions are walking freely. Iziquiel: |
