Open it and check for dust or other particles that could've clogged the flex on the board.

How much were you paid for this shit review?

Since you said you are in Lagos, will you accept any challenge on this review?
I don't accept your challenge. Do your own video showing why you disagree with me.

Depending on your Source, Automotive Grade A cells are available to end user at High cost!
Yes I said it also. A certain newbie manufacturer could. Top ones wouldn't!

Maybe you COULD!!! get from DEALERS who get supplies from these manufacturers but I doubt it.

Greetings everone...i Installed solar panels on my car port.. my question is, does solar panel needs to be grounded(earthed) incase of when rain/lightning comes,. If yes, can it be earthed with the house's distribution board or it need a separate earth rod.??
*House is earthed and has thubder arrestor.*

All the guys complaining of the reasons mentioned why Yohako lithium batteries is shìt, SHOULD NOT TALK, they should SHOW us by doing a rebuttal video. If they can't they should shut the fùck up!

So you no dey watch youtube reviews on batteries where teardown, capacity test is being carried out?
do I need to be paid to review a product that was purchased with my funds?

The similar capacity issue with C-worth the company does not even understand what 80% DOD means! just saying rubbish. The pack had 85AH batteries inside and was labeled 100AH.. and the only explanation was that the 85AH was related to 80% DOD, even when I showed a screenshot that I discharged from 56V to 42V which is 100% DOD.

No.
But the comparison was done using a good battery and a bad battery (there was a duration test first ).

The bad one came out good..

What the battery analyser does is try to read the internal resistance of the battery.
For a new batteries, SoH of about 85-100% is acceptable because of self discharge in storage while internal resistance of about 1.0 - 3.0mΩ is acceptable.

Note that the lower the internal resistance the better.

Yes, I think it relies on the internal resistance vis a vis state of charge to make the verdict, so, except we're saying the measurement is wrong then maybe it's still close.

It does take measurements of say battery voltage which you can get from any voltage meter. But it doesn't really tell you accurately if a battery is weak or not
It doesn't do just voltage though.

I believe we should be able to make our opinions without being vulgar.
As par the yohako battery, it is better we separate the issues.

The battery not being able to serve the setup in which it failed was not in anyway yohako's fault. It was the installer that missed the basic physics as stated. If he had paid attention to the max discharge then he could've sized appropriately but as stated, the client seemed constrained with funds and he got what he paid for.

Whatever cells yohako had used in that battery would've reflected in their pricing too, except if they overstated the capacity and hid important details, I don't think there's a need to crucify them, they even stated the max charge and discharge which is usually a pointer. They have their target market, not everyone can shell out funds for BYD or even felicity which I think yohako should be cheaper than.

This is plain fraud, which of their products and capacity was that?
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Juror: 7:18am On Jan 12
Atlantic's YouTube video didn't really do much though. Let's be honest, at some point they were portraying one thing and saying another.

Dr. Solar mentioned many times that the cells were BYD and didn't really say bad things about them but on the other hand the aura of the video was trying to make the viewers believe the product was the problem whereas the installer was actually the problem.

If they actually did a capacity test and it failed then it may have been a fit.

Probably, for you to get something precise, you have to perform many test then take the average

Dr Solar responding.
It clearly states that the issue was the Kazeem that sold the battery.
It states the load and what the battery can handle.
It states that the load was more than what the BMS can handle.
Yohako should disclose that they are selling repurposed cells. The capacity that they stated is false. They should correct that too.
I did not have issues with the battery till I opened it. Watch the video again

A lot of the "China" lithium batteries use repurposed cells. Even Felicity migth not be innocent.

The other day when I started posting adverts about building Lithium ion batteries, someone quickly pointed out why I shouldn't be taken serious because I use "repurposed genuine Samsung, LG, Panasonic cells"

I read those posts and laughed. If I use brand new cells, that person can't afford it.

Using repurposed cell isn't the problem, the problem is was the cells scrutinised and the real capacity reported?

I used to say to myself, if I assemble a real 5kwh battery, a same rated Felicity battery can't match it!

There are companies that make a living repurposing EV cells. Go on eBay and you will see them. Bigbattery.com does brisk business repurposing cells.
The people selling you a battery should tell you that. They should not quote the original capacity of the cells. If they were at 100% they would still be in the vehicles.

Yes I know all these cos I am in the battery building system. A repurposed 3000mah single 18650 cell migth not still have a 3ah capacity. Now, I have to retest such cell and get the real capacity left, then I can assemble them and rate them based on my own calculated info.
