Sorry to say nigeria situation right now is beyond pleasure, we need infrastructure not suv car for certain people let them work for it, increase their salary. The money for the suv can create job for more than hundreds in the state.

Find below, the SUVs procured by Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for all the medical doctors working in the General Hospitals across the State, to ensure they are at work seamlessly and respond to duty calls.

This in no small measure will give them good confidence and assurance of their welfare, having been employed by the State Government. It is meant as well, to ensure that they do not convert the hospital ambulances to their private cars. All the SUVs have been paid for and all of them delivered.

Talking of ambulances, pictures 5 and 6 show some of the ambulances procured by Ebonyi State Government for the General Hospitals. 52 were paid for, but 20 have arrived. The rest will be delivered soon. The Governor intends to have 2 ambulances for each General Hospital in Ebonyi State.

Ebonyi State is on the rise, and our Chief Servant is leaving no stone unturned in that regard.

The Governor will deploy them soon, according to his esteemed discretion.

It might send a wrong signal to other professionals working in the State Civil Service Commission..
Even if the car is structured as a loan, what of the Nurses, Laboratory Scientists not to even mention professionals in other Sectors.
Other professionals might feel marginalized and will definitely impact their commitment to duty.
You don't need to pamper some at the expense of others as that is what led to different uprising/insurgency all over Nigeria.
He should have make it all inclusive and limit it to professionals at a specified cadre across board.

It is good for the doctors, but does it mean other health workers are not important? Does it mean the pharmacists,nurses, lab scientist,radiologists etc are not important? What is good for the goose is good for the gander. Every good initiative should be fair to everybody not to a sect alone.

My problem with this is that a state government buying so much vehicles and not patronizing made in Nigeria vehicles. This is how we are killing our economy.
