She is left-footed? Could be a perfect backup for Ashleigh.

No, She is very much Right Footed...But like most professional women footballers, she's versatile and she can play across all backline position, She is Primarily a CB tho.

Isabella Bryld Obaze is Primarily a Left Back, even while at HB Koge Women’s Club in Denmark that was her original position but played Center Back in Champions League games occasionally.. When she signed for Rosengard in Sweden she was made to play at CB because the Coaches felt she’s good there too…! Same with what Randy does to Ashleigh who’s a CB but she’s mainly utilized at LB for the SuperFalcons..!

🇵🇪 Faith Ikidi Michael is ready for 2024!

Pitea is incredibly excited that Faith has chosen to sign for another year with the association. 2024 will be her 14th season in PIF Dam. She came to Piteå before the 2011 season and has become loyal to the association ever since ❤️🤍

She has played 17 seasons in one of the best football leagues in the world and this will be her 18th season this year! Already in 2006, she made women's Swedish debut with QBIK and has also played with Linköping. Faith has played 350 games in OBOS Damallsvenskan and was selected best back in 2015. Besides games in Sweden, she has also represented the Nigerian national team where she debuted as early as 2004.

NFF restores World Cup bronze-winning Flamingos’ U17 technical crew

The Executive Committee of Nigeria Football Federation has approved the re-appointment of the technical crew of the U17 Women National Team, Flamingos, led by Coach Bankole Olowookere, which led the team to Nigeria’s first-ever podium finish at the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, in India in 2022.

Thenff.com can report that the NFF Technical and Development Committee made the recommendation, which was subsequently approved by the Executive Committee.

After coming through their group stage attrition, the Flamingos had beaten the United States of America after a penalty shootout in the quarter-finals, but lost to Colombia in the semi-finals. In the third-place, the Flamingos were held to a 3-3 draw by Germany, but prevailed after a penalty shootout to win the bronze medals.

Olanrewaju Bankole Olowookere retained his position as Head Coach, just as Adanna Nwaneri (Assistant Coach), Morufu Adeyemo (Assistant Coach) and Abubakar Ndanusa (Goalkeepers’ Coach) also retained their positions.

The Flamingos will begin the race to qualify for this year’s FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup with an away game against their counterparts from the Central African Republic, with the first leg scheduled for Bangui on the weekend of 2nd – 4th February, while the return leg holds at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Saturday, 10th February.

Good news.

I however hope all of them upgraded their knowledge of the game during this span of time of inactivity. We should have won that tourney if we had some better approach to KO games. But an upgrade is the best news to here. Else....

Deborah Abiodun 20yrs is a dynamic, diminutive, and disciplined player, nicknamed “Kante” by Fans is known for her relentless energy and excellent ball-winning abilities as a Defensive Midfielder/Box-2-Box Midfielder . This is attributed to her strong positional sense, off the ball movement, and her ability to read the game. Predominantly known for his tactical awareness, intelligence, anticipation, and the defensive aspect of her game, her ability to tackle and regain possession, intercept passes, and block shots.
Abeodun is also capable of playmaking from inside her own half and is an efficient passer on the counter-attack, helping kick start attacking plays immediately after winning back the ball. She is also quick up and down the pitch and often makes late attacking runs in to the box.

With the return of Randy, New Midfielders will likely come in but again these have been his regular and stand out in recent time..

••• Halimatu Ayinde 28yrs (Rosengard Fc) 🇸🇪
••• Christy Ucheibe 23yrs (Benfica ) 🇵🇹
••• Deborah Abeodun 20yrs (Pittsburgh University) 🇺🇸
••• Tony Payne 28yrs (Sevilla) 🇪🇸
••• Onyi Echegini 22yrs (Juventus) 🇮🇹

How much game time will they be able to manage with all of them been in top of their game and some going Pro in big European Clubsides..

And the Alternatives like,
— Regina Otu 27yrs (Saint Etienne) 🇫🇷
— Peace Efih 23yrs ( Sc Braga) 🇵🇹
— Esther Onyenezide 20yrs (Fc Robo) 🇳🇬
— Amanda Mbadi 24yrs (Saint Etienne) 🇫🇷

And incoming Foreign Born,
<> Elisha Sulola 22yrs (Valencia) 🇪🇸

Randy is very much familiar with the top5 above and Deborah Abeodun been her player at Pittsburgh University also give her some edge to becoming a regular in the team as she’s well known and nurtured by Randy at College level..

I see JOE as a forward. She should be competing with Gift and Uchenna for that left side.

One good thing is all our Winger forward players can play on both sides but since you mentioned Gift and Kanu… My question is where does Rinsola Babajide comes in??
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 5:05pm On Jan 12
Have always seen Uchenna Kanu as a big player and one of the best talents we have on the Flanks cause the Athleticism is there, but her Performances dipped the moment she moved to the NWSL, on a good day Uchenna Kanu will do justice as she’s a complete player, Very quick, Skillful, can score goals, uses both feet’s effectively and very good in the air..!

Let's also put Nnadozie back at top 9 since all that matters is what the position the player wants cheesy
Onyi can give us more as a forward IMO.

Which Nnadozie? The one that Stopped Playing as a Striker before she was Discovered as a goalkeeper at the Airtel Rising Star Competition??

You can’t compare her with Echegini who played in two positions this particular season after the World Cup…. AM and LW..

It is the same as invalidating my point because of what Onyi said. When we all saw her play in the position I was talking about.
