It is more than a business for you. It is a core mandate of your life to be sad and heartbroken by success stories that aren't from your side. You are a man of many sorrows.

A Investment Fund is different from Corporate Equity.

Those that own capital in the fund are just interest-seeking investors and own no share in the company.

Those that own the equities of the corporation own the company.

As in ehn. I no fit laugh. The guy is just displaying his ignorance of business investment architecture quite blatantly. He just wants to argue without knowing details of what he's fishing about for.

It's like someone carrying a gun and pointing it at himself unknowingly.

You mean the likes of Emoney, that fat one from Owerri and the one that sells hot drinks in the night club, and one that's always displaying an awkward peace sign on social media. Those are your so called billionaires. grin

Otedola is worth $1.1Billion dollars as at yesterday. Tony is around $700m. cool

Otedola is worth more than $1.1Bn.

He has sold up one of his biggest assets (Forte Oil) and Forbes does not look at cash in hand. They only value mostly listed companies.

A large fraction of Otedola's assets are not listed companies and I would not be surprised if they add up to another $200m+; and this is minus his money in the bank or in bonds.

Real billionaires in dollars like Ogunlesi are very humble in person. Adenuga, Dangote, Otedola, Rabiu e.t.c are good examples.
Sincerely u are right it just ascertain that only empty barrels makes noise

Please with all due respect, you don't have any iota of shame. That money is in no way going to impact Nigeria whatsoever, the taxation on that acquisition will benefit the UK and not Nigeria, and most of all not even Yoruba land. Deinde Fernandez you are talking about didn't even impact yorubaland per se with his wealth moreso that he was buried abroad, Oga try and make something useful with your life and stop this praise singing.

Adebayo Ogunlesi was in Nigeria last year and acted as a consultant for the Ogun Cargo airport.

Anioma is in Yoruba land

A vast majority of them have clearly declared they are not Igbos, nor are they Yorubas.

So stop trying to claim Elumelu as Igbo.

Yoruba are silent billionaires! You will never see Yoruba billionaires shouting up and down or bragging with village mansions! From Ogunlesi to Adenuga to Otedola to Saraki (worth over $2B before becoming Kwara governor) to Adeleke (Davido's dad) to Alakija. God continue to bless the house of Oduduwa.
