This is not about Hamas. This is about protecting Palestinian lives whom the majority are innocent yet get killed senselessly. Millions of people have protested globally over 15 countries and about 3 different major protests in the US & UK, are they all "Pro-Hamas"? Is the 'Western value' about supporting the killing of Innocent helpless folks rather than finding a lasting diplomatic solution to the lingering 70-year-old issue as they are the originator of this crisis? So because you want to live in King Charles' Boulevard, you want to shy away from the truth to avoid your visa being revoked (Black man and shackle mindset; yet living in the 'supposed' land of the free and absolute human right) ReesheesuKnack: 7 Likes

adekzy: I hope you are writing this trash from Moscow. If IPOB leaves the SE and cross over to the SW or North and kill over 1200 innocent people of the SW and take over 300 people of them and camp them in the SE as hostages and the people of the SE did not demonstrate immediately and pour into the street to denounce and condemn that act and demand the immediate release of those hostages, then any action taken by the FG on them will receive less sympathy from the public. Will Nigeria do nothing if a neighboring country enters the country, massacre up to a 1200 people and abduct over 300 Nigerians? There is no justification for using terrorism to achieve a political aim or settle problems. Isreal Palestinian problems cannot be solved through terrorism. If you justify the event of Oct 7th then don't cry over the repercussions You justified Russia bombardment of Ukraine as legitimate even though Ukraine never attacked Russia despite Russia annexing Crimea since 2014. The same way Gaza is being bombarded, is the same way Ukrainian cities are being bombarded by Russia. There is no justification for Russia to destroy Ukraine yet you support it but cry over Isreal that was attacked by terrorists, what a hypocrisy. If you like keep supporting terrorists because you hate the west, that one na your business. If houti terrorist like, they should not think about their civilians and initiate a war they can't win after all they have people like you who will defend them as victims. After all, they have been at war with Saudi led Arab coalition since 2015 that has killed over 300,000 Yemenis so it looks like they don't care anymore. By the way, the US has been in Russia doorsteps since 2004. Norway,Estonia and Latvia are bordering Russia and are members of NATO since 2004 yet they US or NATO hasn't attacked Russia since then. Finland bothers Russia and has now joined NATO. Russia does not fear NATO militarily cos NATO will never attack Russia unprovoked and they know it. The only thing Russia fears about NATO is that it is loosing her ability to bully her neighbors. The only countries Russia can bully now is Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Maldova. If Ukraine joins NATO, the list reduces. For a country that sees itself as equal to the US, it is a big blow to them. Unfortunately, Russia doesn't have anything to offer to any reasonable person, this is why her neighbors are looking west. There is nothing to gain from a country that uses poison or mysterious death to settle scores. While people in the west can hold their government accountable and can remove them from power when neccessary, Russians unfortunately don't have that priviledge and you are here talking nonsense. 10 Likes |

Yes, we have been nursing corrupt governments majorly in Africa, but how has America helped our economy apart from huge IMF loan bondage? China via its Belt and Road initiative has done way more for Africa in a few years compared to the West in decades. justwise: 1 Like |

ReesheesuKnack: I recently unfollowed a longtime friend on facebook because of this, we used to share a house when I was a student and his anti western views is outrageous, since this war started my Facebook timeline is full of videos clips and pro Hamas materials. You can criticise certain western policies without hating the west with passion. Russian and Chinese embassies are pretty much empty while getting an appointment for American visa applications take months, people sale all they have, borrowed and engaged in all sorts of fraudulent activities just to get UK visa but they hate the west? How many of us will live in Russia or china and at the same time openly speak or support American or the west? 18 Likes |

adekzy: IMF loan you said? Who forced African governments to take those loans and what did they do with those loans? America forced them to take it and forced them to mismanaged them? Itâs interesting that you mentioned China and projects they are carrying out in Africa but my question to you is this⊠is China doing it for free? China is giving African governments un-repayable loans to carry projects contracted by Chinese companies. China is even doing worse than Americans and the west did in Africa. 4 Likes |

adekzy: It's quite amusing, and perhaps a bit baffling, for you to think that America or any other nations for that matter should be compelled to help our economy. Let's look at it this way, you have your own family and I have mine, and you think it is my responsibility to take care of your own family's welfare as well. We must move away from the habit of attributing all our issues to the West. It is only by taking ownership of our challenges and working towards solving them internally that we can truly progress. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Every one will believe what they want to. So Israel killed and dismembered their own citizens, and framed up Hamas just to start a war with Gaza...the same Gaza they have contributed to building over the years. Israel also built all the tunnels, hid ammunitions in Gaza hospitals, and are currently holding their own hostages in Gaza. quite interesting. if indeed Hamas is this innocent, unfortunately the real innocent ones are the victims adekzy: |

Chinlov: Israel can do no wrong. They are âGods own Nationâ so the world must always side with them. One day Africans go wise. |
Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by jamebex(m): 11:16am On Jan 15 |
lavida001: Who told you the world is siding with Israel? And do you even think Israel care if anyone side with them or not? Israel is out there taking responsibility for their citizens and not like some Africans who would rather blame others for their misfortune. You say when Africans go wise? Maybe when Africans start becoming less "arrogant" and start take responsibility for themselves. 1 Like |

adekzy: Talking about protecting innocent lives that's good. Show me where you have protested the killings and displacement of people in the middle belt of Nigeria by fulani herdsmen. Where is your outrage for the ones happening in your own backyard? Or their lives don't matter to you? Unlike Hamas, the people of middle belt did not attack anyone yet they are being massacred and displaced in their ancestral home and you are here spewing nonsense. 3 Likes |

Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 3) by Kenn55: 2:17pm On Jan 15 |
adekzy: You are naive. After China development peaked and they were no longer building as before, smart Chinese started looking for a way to keep their construction conglomerate working. They found 3rd world countries where they show up as messiah to help them grow. China gives you loan, use their own companies and manpower to execute the work then use the opportunity to extract your natural resources. At the end of the day, the money doesn't trickle down to the local economy cos 70% of the money they loaned you goes back into China for their own benefit yet you are still owing massively. You gain only shiny projects that can't even generate enough money to pay back the loan. Current examples of the Chinese debt trap mess can be felt in Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Zambia etc. Some of these countries are now turning to the same IMF for help after China refused to restructure their debt or cancel it. If China was there to help Africa, why can't China help Nigeria fix her power problem knowing fully well that is the major thing that would accelerate Nigeria industrialization? They won't near there because an industrialized Nigeria will be a threat to China manufacturing as companies would be incentivized to use Nigeria as their manufacturing hub. Like the west, China is looking out for their own interest not yours. I expect you to relocate to the likes of Russia, China,Yemen etc to enjoy their values after all they have better values. By the way, don't bother responding cos I won't reply. I'm out 9 Likes |

justwise: What is all this talk about hating the West? Sounds like emotional blackmail or another form of the racist jibe 'go back to your country'. How does speaking against a policy equate to hating the West? If I come across institutional racism in the UK (similar to the recent post office scandal when it happened), am I suppose to keep mum so I don't anger the West? In my 95% British white county, all Brits with whom I've touched on the war in discussions are absolutely appaled by the amount of destruction being visited on Palestinians and do not see it as the end of this conflict. Do they also hate the West? 2 Likes |

adekzy: Thanks for this. The last time I was on DMO, it's surprising how small the percentage of our debt is owed to the Chinese yet these are the most accounted for. Over 60% of our debt is owed to various western agencies for which we can't point to one thing they were used for. A dollar loaned from China had proven more beneficial to Nigerian than 10 from IMF Of recent, there's been an obsession in western nations to 'warn' Africa about Chinese loans- one which I find evidently hypocritical. Like I asked a colleague recently, why are you worried? This video by the president of Barbados put it eloquently https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4sJqR2VNPA 1 Like 2 Shares |

lavida001: Hehe... it was here I remember someone castigated Nigeria for speaking against the apartheid regime in SA in the 80s. In his view we would have kept mum/supported it so we the UK could allow us visa free atatus for a few years like Ghana I still think about it and shudder. The reality is that we're coming out of over 400yrs of oppression and leaders not helping matters has really affected our psyche. I wonder if he'd want to be a black man in the West today if apartheid was still active in Africa, or how Ghana who he reported kept mum and retained the visa status (only briefly) fared afterward. 2 Likes |

EJIOGBENIMI: I used an app called Credit Karma which guides you on whats needs to be done to improve your credit rating and lets you see soft/hard search. All said, the 'score' is overhyped and counts for little to nothing when you come to get a mortgage. What's important is not having an adverse credit hx (e.g missed payment), your deposit, good income hx and sensible outgoings. There's also a rent reporting agency which you can use to report regular rent payments on your credit file but again, I doubt how much effect that has in getting a mortgage. 4 Likes 2 Shares |
