The Vakola police have apprehended four Nigerian individuals for allegedly selling drugs. The police seized 55 grams of cocaine worth Rs. 56.24 lakhs.

According to the police, on January 10, they arrested an individual identified as Anthony Maduka Nyize (32) from Kadam Wadi, Santacruz East. Subsequent investigations revealed his partner, Sonia Devi alias Sairam (22), was also involved in the crime. She was apprehended on January 14.

Further inquiry revealed that the main accused frequently contacted a few Nigerian individuals and met them in a society called Aary colony. Consequently, the police arrested two more Nigerian individuals, identified as Azah Alias Aka Moren (33) and Sebi Raul alias Ekenna Godwin (27), both from Goregaon.

The investigation uncovered that these individuals, along with the main accused, were engaged in drug selling. A case under the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act was filed against all four individuals, and the police seized cocaine valued at Rs. 56,24,500.

It is unfortunate, our society don't see drug trafficking as a crime, one can even be made a president after forfeiting drug money.

Nigerians have now made India their new Haven for drugs and narcotics.

Their laxed and lenient laws may be responsible for Nigerians targeting their populace.

They should try this nonsense in Indonesia - Changi airport and see if they will live to enjoy their drug money.

They do it everywhere. In fact, the riskier, the richer. These are guys who believe in 50 Cent's conviction: Get rich or die tryin'

This is what you get when young people lose faith in their country and their ability to use legitimate means to eke out a living. Guys sell drugs, do online scam, kidnap people and ladies sell their bodies.

The biggest implication is the negative impact it has on Nigeria's already battered image and worthless passport.

When India tightens visa requirements for Nigerians going for legit business and studies, some idiots would start blaming the green passport instead of blaming these crooks and useless fellows.

please which "society" are you from? There is no country in the world that doesn't see drug trafficking as a crime, the only difference is how they handle the issue, while some take it seriously, others handle it with kid-glooves.

Stanley keep making excuse for your criminality.

This is how one of you wanted to blame Nigeria for getting involved in drug dealing in far away Thailand when he was being interrogated by a Thai Police officer who interrupted him and told him to his face that criminality is an Ibo thing.

If that's all you can pick out from that comment, you should refund your parents the money they wasted training you in school and apologise to them.

Rule 2

Stop generalizing to Nigerians .

A vast majority of Nigerians do not subscribe to illicit drug dealing.

They hate Nigeria and Nigerians.

Stop referring to them as Nigerians .

😂 If the this post was something that happened by Nigerians of the North, West, middle belt or SS, it would have been on front page along time ago.

Alot of northerners go to India for studies, they would now be stereotyped as Nigerian drug traffickers.
