Yes that's my thread. A single box of that battery contains 1,120 18650 cells and every single cell was tested for Charge Temp, Discharge Temp, Capacity & Self Discharge, but the Joncrix guy thought it should cost a meagre.

Certainly not, a single charge and discharge is sufficient for lifepo4 capacity test.

I thought LiFe04 are not supposed to be charged at voltages higher than 3.65, at least that is what they wrote on my EVE cells.

lifepo4 is 3.2volts nomial and 3.65volt max charge
li-ion/nmc is 3.6volts nominal and 4.2volts max charge voltage..

2 laptops: 70Watts*2
Lighting points 10Watts each
Sometimes 1 OX ceiling fan about 70watts
TV set 70Watts

Roughly can handle around 600+Watts during the day or when the battery is charged enough. For a 1Kw 12volts system with a 1kwhr battery running on just 2*150watts felicity solar panel I think it's pretty decent.

During the night, when the something has charged to about 3 bars cause it has 5 bars. I could charge my two laptops and phone plus on about 5 lighting points for say about 4 to 3 hrs. Let's say about 250 watts or less.

I plan to add like 3 or two more 150watts solar on top the setup.

When not on load, the the 1kwhr battery can be fully charged with about 15hrs+ of charging on the 300watts solar. Im sure the felicity solar panel could on be able to deliver probably 200watts or less of energy.

The guys that made the box says the internal charge controller can handle 40a. And each of those panel can max 8 amps.

Overall a good one at least for a small setup only downside is no displays to monitor the system as the engineers said they designed it to mitigate cost.

I tried to power a 350W blender load on the system, it went off during the day. Probably the starting current etc, of the motor. Funny thing, it comfortable powers old Ox ceiling fan like very fast.

But when I add like 3 more solar panel to the setup, I will try the blender again. And give a review.

On the protection side, I think the guys that did the system did a great job. It has a pretty decent protection for the battery. Like overdischarge and overload.

I plan again to add another system again from the same guys about 2Kw system for redundancy sake which cost around 400K.

I bought that 1Kw system for cheap though when dollar was still very low.

About 2 months review sha.

Hire someone to troubleshoot and fix it for you

If you are within or out of warranty, you can still take it to Felicity & they will fix it but if you are out of warranty, the fixing may come at a cost. Alternatively, you can buy Heltec 8S 5a lifepo4 battery balancer from AliExpress & it will most likely resolve the issue. I have 4 Felicity batteries & I fixed the battery balancer on all 4. All is good now. You can also buy a battery monitor from AliExpress to monitor individual battery cell in the pack

I followed your advise, unpacked the box and installed a balancer and now the battery pack is as good as new.

It doesn't go off anymore and all through the night I only use about 25 percent of its power compared to how it drains battery and goes off before.

Please I've read as much as I can from the beginning of this thread but due to constant changing system and methods based on trial and error I understand things have changed and things will keep changing. Hence the need to post my question so that I can get best advice that is applicable today given my needs.

So my question is:

I want to set up an affordable solar system to provide light and charging ports for laptop and phones. I also want to get a solar fan to work with it.

Now, what kind of battery, solar panel, inverter, charge controller, solar standing fan, solar lights and charging ports and other gadgets should I get to build my setup?

How many hours do you want it to run? MPS 2 Pro is the best bet for most people that work from home

One of my client is having an issue with his setup:

1.5kva inverter
1 230A Tubular battery
4 solar panels
And 30A charge controller mppt


Now the system charge well and work for a week but after one week the system will switch off !! There is no much load on just a cctv camera setup!

Please what could be the problem !?
