The problem with the Moroccans has always been lack of depth.

Playing against a 10 man team and they looking clueless without Ounah and El-Nesry!
How sir? People that just demolished Tanzania?

Kanu has more assists though cos they don't play same role for the National team.

Yekini should have actually scored more without the ban of 96 & 98 (Golden era).

I am still pained that our Golden generation missed out on back to back to back AFCONS win!

Kog45:
Yekini 13 goals in 5 Afcon and funny,Kanu zero goal in 5 Afcon.

They looked compact but were unable to create anything tangible until the red card.

After Ounah and El-Nesry left the pitch the subs looks sub par!

Winning alone doesn't tell the whole story.

Zambia and DRC will give them a lot to think about!

Missing 96 Afcon was painful.Yes you are right on Kanu, but do you know that it's still debatable talking on who has highest number of assists in eagles.

Players I expect to make ways after AFCON are; Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon, Omeruo, Awaziem, Aribo and Uzoho.

Players I hope they become integral part of the team after AFCON are; Orban, Yusuf and Nwakali.

Remove Simon.

I think Kanu assists can't be more than 5. Definitely, he can't be the one with the most assists. I am just saying the comparison is not fair to Kanu cos he offered more than just goal scoring!

How EQG escaped a red card against us is still a mystery to me? Our players are too passive in responding to opponents rough tackles for my liking. Both male and female!

Tanzania is not playing football! This is not how football should be played!
I thought I was the only one. Very rough tackling, I was expecting 2 reds against them.

Morroco very good. But we will beat them.

I notice we do not give the same leeway to other playeryas we give to VO.

If that was Ighalo, Onuachu or anybody else they would have crucified and lambasted on this forum nom stop.

VO Didn't have a great game.

Actually nobody had an outstanding game, some were clearly better than others but nobody was exceptional.
ighalo, Onuachu et all are not APOTY na, cut some slack for APOTY.

Why i single out Stephen Keshi was,cuz I watched him keenly in his days and till date have not seen both ex and present that are better than him,not only about goal scoring but the charisma and all round performance.

I remember Angola match in Luanda,we are two goals down but Keshi moved from CB and made sure we leveled up with screamer from him and Ademola Adeshina.

Stephen Keshi as a defender have 60 career goals with 9 goals for super eagles.
he must have really been a tough man, I heard he is mafia style.

60+ goals as a defender is wow. I duff hat.

This is very correct. They will struggle against Zambia and Congo. The Congolese especially are hard as nail

No serious side relies on Iwobi to be their main creative hub.
It shows how bad things are...
Iwobi has been a professional footballer for over a decade and there's still no idea what's his best position.
Definitely not a CAM that I'm sure of.
Iwobi should be competing with Simon out on the wings and no where near midfield.

As far as I am concerned, Iwobi is not a midfielder and doesn't have the capacity to create play for the SE. We have been watching that boy for over s decade and he practically brings nothing to the table. Iwobi is a liability to the SE. He is harming is more than hell. The man walks around the pitch all day doing nothing and suddenly makes one little pass and he will be celebrated like a hero. He is a pretender and has nothing to offer the SE.

I listened to a respected German sports analyst Mario Leo who is so in love with Nigeria

He said he wandered what Jose Peseiro is doing in nigeria
He expects a coach to say see my formation, see my game plan to neutralize the opposition, see how we intend to play and win

But he is amazed rather Jose Peseiro is just saying he is here to win the AFCON. Without tactics or plan. That's crazy morden football is not played that way

Kanu sef no try, I can't recall the Afcon 04 or 06,kanu won a pk, then the talk of kanu not having an Afcon goal was loud. Many fans was expecting kanu to take the pk, oga leave the pk walker komot. That incident vex me

The only two creative players we have in this current squad are Iheanacho and Lookman but they are forwards. Soon people will realize the importance of a creative midfielders in the team.

This SE team will never succeed with Iwobi as a creative midfielder. If you like get emotional and cry all day but you can't give what you dont have...Look at Tinubu, a criminal pretending to fight corruption and reduce wastage

It looks like the raptors are going to tank this season . They have traded Siakam and Anunoby, two of their best players... I expect Nwora to get more game time now ..

Kanu's penalty miss in Lagos in the AFCON final against CMR must have haunted him for long.

Sociedad are currently playing in the Copa del Rey and Sadiq come on in the second half and the match is still ongoing.
I won't be surprised seeing Boniface and Ndidi playing for both Leverkusen and Leicester soon.

Is it that these players don't just want to play under Paseiro or they are doing it because of the NFF?
