4tunebest: I now believe we are in a buuuuuuull market. Back in the days area boys and agberos under Apongbon bridge had stock broking accounts with UBA Stockbrokers which was few minutes walk. They made good money from penny stocks about 16 to 18 years ago. To them it was more like a bet or gamble. Back in the days we attended 7am service on Sunday at a church in Ikeja. Service was devoted to stock analysis and trading strategy. A prominent pastor sef get column in a business newspaper and made stock projections/forecast. In a bull market, everybody is a guru. The promoters of Universal Insurance and Geofluid private placements dey speak in tongues during business road show, those who invested because of their outward display of spirituality are still around to tell you how far. 18 Likes 3 Shares |

emmanuelewumi:Old man . So you were also in church those days when Abayomi Obabolujo gather us to meet the promoters of stocks. You forgot to mention Union Diagnostics too. From there, we shifted base to one hotel after Agidingbi, Ikeja where we receive lectures from the likes of Alhaji Garba Kurfi and others. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Uncle T we are still waiting on the outcome of the board meeting, but please can you still hold it and allow this your stock to grow organically! Doing that will give you more money to scale other businesses o. Infact, just leave transcorp like this for the next two years, you and know that the numbers will speak for itself oh! mumu9gerian: No news about the billions of Naira invested in the company for more than 10years, no dividends. NASD is just an avenue for people to sell, provided they can get buyers. 1 Like |

emmanuelewumi:That means you are highly principled. I went to his office at Onipanu to buy 70,000 units of Geofluid for myself @ N5 and also 50,000 units for a close friend, not to talk about others like Union Diagnostics. His papers (Stockwatch) are still in my archives. Everything is now history. Besides the losses made from those investment, it exposed me a lot to the intricacies of stock trading which I am now enjoying to the fullest now. 8 Likes 2 Shares |
