Toylove:Zaidu can go off for Bassey to shift to LB and then we bring Onyedika or Aribo. Iwobi truly needs to be upfield 2 Likes |

Odunayaw:Civ is not clueless in possession they are dangerous in possession while SE looks clueless both in possession and out of possession. This Civ cannot beat Equatorial Guinea so SE must win this match and they are not playing as if they want to win. Both Chukwueze and Osimhen needs to be subbed off, they are playing against Nigeria. |

bisqit:So what is the difference? Lookman and Chuks come inside with Zaidu and Aina holding the width....and you have your 343. It is a simple stuff |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Mujtahida: 7:02pm On Jan 18 |
Talking about the opportunity Osimhen had, an experienced striker would have cut back and three things would have happened: a clear one on one with the Gk, or the defender fouls him leading to a penalty or the defender snuffs out the threat. |

yinkeys:He didn't need his stronger foot! Just a simple placed shot from any was all he needed but he just ballooned the ball with so much power. The keeper clearly had no clue where he might place it so he would likely go the wrong way while the ball rolled past him. 1 Like |

Odunayaw: You are probably watching a different match. Iwobi is crap. The midfield is non existent. I don't see any game plan |

If osimhen don't bury his next chance, then I'd admit he is quiet low in confidence at the moment. One goal pls. |

Second half it's imperative they bring on Aribo to create some inventive attacking opportunities. Let's see Zaidu needs to be substituted. 2 Likes |

codemaniacs:maybe na another game u Dey watch cus the one am watching super eagles hv been more creative and penetrative just that the formation doesn’t allow all to bumb forward Super eagles is deployed in a more defensive and and counter attacking formation. The reason while defending we hv 5 defenders at the back Zaidu is suppose to be joining the attack when the team is attacking just like aina did in the first half but he is not built for such role The reason why I suggested that aina moving to the left back and osayi moving to the right back will help the team more when attacking 1 Like |

Odunayaw: SE is clueless. They are rushing their attack instead of passing among themselves and waiting for others to join and overload the attack. It is obvious SE does not have an attacking formation and they are relying on passing the ball to Osimhen to perform magic when he is not Oshoala. |
