Whenever the coach want to use this formation in subsequent matches, the defence line up should be Aina Omeruo Ekong Ajayi Bassey Zaidu must never been seen anywhere near the starting 11 again. Infact he should be sent back to his club because it seems he was bribed to play against Nigeria. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

AndSunGorilla: It's very normal behaviour when you have been sitting on the bench watching a carpenter like Zaidu. As soon as your come on you feel your have something to prove he should have taken his shot a ot earlier he was looking for validation and glory. Best player today for me was Aina ( complete footballer) There is no denying we won the game but did not beat CIV a lot of luck, we did not dominate. It's football ⚽ you can get lucky . |

Aina is MOTM We held on tight. The tactics worked. Looks like the 1st ever that worked under Peseiro. Iwobi gassed out but did well with his zonal. I'm pissed at Chuks and Osayi for those chances missed. Tueh to both of their foolishness that moment. Infact Simon helped this team in this game more than Chuks. Wetin sef? No excuses vs Bissau. Pls o. 6 Likes 3 Shares |

Finally. We survived Ivory Coast. Defensively, the super eagles turned up. Kudos to Ekong, Bassey, Ajayi (he really surprised me), Onyeka, Omerou, Aina (man of the match for me), Nwabili. We need to do more in the attacking department. We could barely string 3 passes together too. Lastly, Osimhen needs to understand that he wouldn’t be getting 5 or more chances per game with our style of play. So no room for wastefulness in front of goal. I hope we tap our own 3 points from Guinea Bissau in the last match. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Odunayaw:very very wise. He had a great game albeit not scoring. He won many battles against those center backs, I saw many knockdowns from him. He also made the penalty by staying down and not standing up. Big kudos. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Let me go and enjoy my pie. The SE soared!!!!! Kudos to JP today, perfect starting line-up and good win for the team. The players need to talk to one another, they should play for the team and forget about individual glory, keep it simple, especially Chuks and Osayi. Also, I would suggest that Osimhen should sit out the next game, he can get some rest if he's not already injured and perhaps reflect so he can bring out his best self, I feel he had two good opportunities today, the chance from the first half and the header from Aina's throw, that said thanks to him for winning the penalty. We have already qualified anyway, one of Onyeka or Iwobi too can take a break in my opinion. For the next game, may not be the best but I would like Nwabili Osayi Ekong Ajayi Bassey Bruno Aribo Onyedika Iheanacho Chuks Onuachu Simon 3 Likes 1 Share |
