Alex Otti Appointments: We Have Grown Beyond Tribal Bigotry In Abia State. by Workch: 11:19am On Jan 19 |
You can see how the 3 major tribes in the country are represented on the list and even some of the other names are not indigenes of Abia state but we are not foaming and crying foul. In Abia, we are mature to care about your state of origin nowadays as long as you can give us result. You don't see Abians go about and crying more than the bereaved that a yoruba or Hausa man should not make the list. In Abia state, we are very accommodating and irrespective of your origin, we will deal with you accordingly. Tribal bigotry is for uncivilized and unsophisticated humans. 16 Likes 3 Shares

Christistruth00: Nigeria is not practising a regional government but states. Why not allow states to control their politics however they want like in the case of Lagos state where Yoruba non indigenes dominates their state? 2 Likes 2 Shares |

paramakina202: Nigeria has 6 Regions that cannot be Ignored No Region should try to impose itself on other Regions or their Politics Each Region looks after their Own Politics and People and Except for matters of National Security all other Regions should mind their own business when it does so It a Regions States decide to Operate in a United manner it is not any other Regions Business 3 Likes 1 Share |

paramakina202: That is Irrelevant Tribes are not Constitutionally recognised It doesn’t mean they don’t exist The Customary Court Laws recognise them Why are you taught Igbo in SE Schools and Yoruba in SW Schools And it doesn’t mean Nigerians don’t have Tribal loyalties which are carried to State and Regional level Even Gods own Isreal had 12 Tribes and he recognised all of them our Lord and Messiah Jesus Christ was from the Tribe of Judah England and Scotland were at each others Throats for Complete 300 years Today England Wales Northern Ireland and Scotland have their own different Parliaments Any Political Office Holder who does Swear Oath of allegiance to the King and People of his Region has no future or business there 3 Likes 1 Share |

paramakina202: It doesn’t Matter There are still 6 Regions in Nigeria And over 300 tribes each with their own Ethnic History and Homeland You. Cannot tell a Tribe that covers 6 States not to act in a United manner if it is their Culture because your own Cultural doesn’t do it All the Core North had Sharia Law and the Constitution didn’t stop them Other Tribes cannot mass migrate to Abia and try to impose their own Tribal Agenda on Your own Ethnic Homeland and Background You will never accept it 3 Likes 1 Share |

PureFace1: Don't mind them, They didn't protest because everyone knew it wasn't a paid appointment. We all saw how they protested when an Anambra Man was selected as the mayor of Aba LOVEALAIGBO: https://punchng.com/aba-indigenes-fault-ottis-mayoral-appointment/ By the way, I'm not a bigot just trying to correct your assertion. Nigeria as a whole still has a long way to go when it comes to tribal relation 3 Likes |
