Danielnino00: Dude are you listening to yourself 🤔 Obvious reasons 😮 Eze, Olise, Zaha, are technically gifted players. Irrespective of the whatever team KC plays in technically gifted is not word I would use to describe him. Decent finisher good technique but not exceptional yes. Boniface, Ademola, Iwobi, Aina, Chukwueze are technically more gifted than him. If VO was not performing in club and league he would not be in the SE. His continuous top performance in club have kept him in the SE not just past glories. This is why comparison is made continuously about players in the HERE and NOW to see who might give the best quality in the national team. Not because he did it before he can do it again. Consider that Nathan Tella scored 17 goals in the Championship which KC is struggling to get recognition in. I would not say that KC is more technically gifted than Nathan Tella and or clinical add to the mix KC is not match fit after coming back from injury. 2 Likes |

mostob: Maguire no justification but Kalvin Philips doesn't have anybody competing with him in England add to that he is Manchester City none of our players will get into City now. So in the context of the world class quality around Kalvin Philips it's understandable, he gets selected. |

yinkeys: Big time I called a friend from Cote De Voire and he explained there were cultural differences which Zaha had not tuned into. He didn't understand why they had to share rooms, he did not like sharing room with guys openly practicing JuJu, some of the food was not up to scratch. In Africa even when officials are taking your bonuses you keep QUITE when things are going wrong you keep QUITE, when you get grief from government officials you keep QUITE. Unfortunately Zaha is vocal and doesn't understand those cultural dynamics. You can say I'm talking rubbish but you will not hear this in the media. |

superbloke: There are some teams getting on the bench is a major feat in itself. Teams like, Real Madrid, Manchester City, etc Nwakali will not smell the U18 and KC will not smell the bench of city Now. Odegaard was a bench warmer for Real went straight into Arsenal team and dominated from day one, he is the captain of Arsenal. Or Pogba from Manchester United youth team and occasional bench warmer to midfield general at Juventus immediately on arrival. Lesson - NO BE ALL BENCH BE BENCH 2 Likes |

humility33:Osimhen's all-round play and pressing is too good for him to be benched. His finishing will also get better, I'm sure. He just needs to be calm when in front of goal. He wants this afcon win so much, he's looking desperate. 8 Likes 3 Shares |

Mujtahida:Iheanacho is our most clinical striker but we should not forget that Osimhen's pace, on and off the ball runs and counter attacking ability/instinct is what creates most of those chances. Iheanacho relies heavily on a pass from the midfield or wings in order to score. He is not fast on the counter. So we won't be seeing most of those chances with Iheanacho starting. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Mujtahida:He would not even see most of the chances,as the opponent defenders will get the ball before him. Osimhen's aggression, pace and ability to get to a through ball before the opponent defenders makes him an asset in counter attacking situation. 8 Likes 1 Share |

charlesemeka85:People are still talking about Yak's miss over ten years ago and Ikpeba Afcon penalty mishap over 20 years ago but we should shhusssh about Osimhen's miss just less than a week ago? Is he some sacred cow? I rarely criticise Osimhen because I really do believe in him but to say people should not talk about his profligacy is downright ludicrous. Even Osimhen with the high standard he holds himself to, will likely not agree with you. Yes. He himself said it that he missed chances. Go and tell him to die the matter. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3u8zlwuVNNs?si=cmXyvpv4YFLFnPBw How stating the obvious fact that he missed chances amounts to killing or not allowing him is beyond me. You guys twists things and create needless arguments out of it. You cannot police people on what they should or should not say. You counter it with your own facts not set down a totalitarian demand that people should shut up. 7 Likes |

EEGA:This is what most people don't understand about Osimeh. He gets those chances in the first place because of his dogged play. He is a terrorist to defenders because of his dogged ness, positioning, and strength. I remember as a child we always mocked Van Nistelrooy for always scoring tap ins, but as we learnt more about the game, we realized Van Nistelrooy did the hard work to put himself in those positions and not all strikers are capable of that. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Please for subsequent games, it will be wrong to sub in Onuachu except we want to hold on to a lead. We play counter attack/attacking football under peseiro, so we need fast forwards not an Onuachu who is slow. Terem Moffi would have been a better sub if we needed another goal. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Nigeriagood:Most players with high centre of gravity tend to be slow. How many through balls was he able to use? Was he able to get a shot on target or off-target from a counter? We play fast attacking football under peseiro, relying heavily on the pace of our front three. |

Nigeriagood:Why did you think he struggled in Southampton last season? It's because most mid-table team/teams who want to stay above the relegation zone adopt counter attacking system of play. |
