The speed of light is a limitation. The size of our planet makes the speed of light really great. Let's take this instance, imagine Elon Musk's colony on Mars is already there, sending an instant message to and from Mars for example would take a staggering 22 minutes from Earth. I'm talking about regular instant messaging we use right now that travels at the speed of light. Imagine seeing a post on Nairaland without any comments or views and typing FTC only for your post to show up on the 3rd page of the thread. This would be the reality of light speed internet on Mars

This means that if/when humans conquer deep space exploration and send messages back to earth, it would take decades if not centuries depending on how far we explore. My problem is this, this makes speed of light tech primitive. What about the speed of the dark? Has anyone tried to measure darkness? Dark matter and dark energy still eludes the most brilliant of minds. Shouldn't scientists focus more on Dark matter since it takes more space in the observable universe more that light matter?
